Lyrics for Carousel as interpreted by ScreamingInfidelity

Carousel Lyrics
I talk to you every now and then
I never felt so alone again
I stop to think at a wishing well
My thoughts send me on a carousel
Here I am standing on my own
Not a motion from the telephone
I know not a reason why
Solitudes a reason to die

Just you wait and see
As school life is a
It is a woken dream
Aren't you feeling alone?

I guess its just another
I guess its just another
I guess its just another night alone

Now as I walk down the street
I need a job just to sleep in sheets
Buying food every once in a while
But not enough to purchase a smile

A tank of gas is a treasure to me
I know now that nothing is free
I talk to you every now and then
I never felt so alone again

Just you wait and see
As school life is a
It is a woken dream
Aren't you feeling alone?

I guess its just another
I guess its just another
I guess its just another night alone

Thats what i call a song...It talks about growing up and how hard it is to be alone.I lived for 4 months by myself and it sucks to come home and not have anyone there. And most of the time the only thing to do is go ride around and spend the only money you got on gas.

i agree its a really good song as all of blink's early highschool days songs were. They suck shit now, hopefully they break up and Box Car Racer (the side project) gets more popular and blink will die out. But man were they good back in the day.

First of all, this is probably one of my favorite blink songs ever. their new stuff is alright, but give me chestire cat and dude ranch. the songs about being alone. no one calling you, no one to hang out with. everyone goes through this at sometime in their life, and it sucks.

Lets face it we all love at least one blink song. I personally am a Blink 182 fan. But I like there older stuff better I truly could't call myself a fan of punk music if I didn't say that blink changed. Just listen to a song like Zulu then listen to rock show there is a big difference not just in equipment but in the style of music. Some people like the change some people don't thats your choice...

5 of 10 so called blink fans would not know this song was by blink and 8 of 10 would have no clue what album its on. this was pure punk blink. before they became the trend. yes becoming a trend is selling out. once you become popular you make more money and therefore sellout. it takes nothing away from punk blink that came before enema of the state. by the way... blinks absolute greatest song they have ever performed.

one of the best blink songs.. especially live.. this song is really deep, to me, and i like the emotion tom puts into it when he sings. the lyrics are really good, they kind of break my heart.. and of course the intro is perfect too. ive felt really alone, at times, without anyone calling me, without anyone there to talk to.. and it's just so sad.

the bottom line is, this song rocks, this whole album rocks, everything else after this album pretty much sounds the same, same with boxcar racer.
anyways, if you claim to be a true blink fan, go buy this album, listen to it, the way i listened to it growing up in the '94, man back then i thought i was the only one that ever knew of this band...now the whole world knows. and good for them. they deserve it.

now this is what i call a good blink 182 song! the first time i heard this song..i knew i was going to be a fan! ive loved them since. i dont like the whole POP scene taking over their minds..but im not going to drop my favorite band of all time just because a couple teeny boppers think their hotties.."I love you Mark!"..."Ooooh Travis...BLINK ME!"..."Tom your so hot!"...la de da..i go to their concerts now and see little girls and boys running around..dressed like punkers..ugh...that bothers me..but oh well..i still love blink..and i will never stop loving them!
