absolutely amazing song! one of their best! the dudes are pretty cool too.i lived in rancho for a couple years so yeah but nonetheless rufio rocks!

This song reminds me of a great trip down to London to see The Offspring a couple of years back. RUFiO opened for the band (after some really shit band) and I was blown away. They really filled the arena, which is something because the sound there is terrible.

wow some of you people are so fuckin stupid. i dont understand why you call this "true punk" and then say sum 41 and blink 182 are fake punk or posers. you are idiots. just because they are not famous doesn''t mean they are true punk. fuck that, fuck everyone who doesn't like blink 182 and sum 41 .
i like rufio but i dont see it so different from blink and sum.

There are better bands, but I think this song is good.

*my favorite part... It describes so perfectly the melting of two hearts..two people's feelings..when everything else in his life feels empty, she engenders a fullness that completes him. She is everything, she creates that "bubble" that you feel when you're in love, when the rest of the world seems to disappear.
but "tears of unseen light".."tears of unseen hope" and the other lyrics make it seem like she won't let him get as close to her as he wants, or something is coming between them.
whatever! :) good song...obvious meaning...

I like this song. But...

THIS IS NOT A PUNK SONG!! RUFIO IS NOT PUNK!!

I like Rufio but there are better bands out there. Instrumentally and vocally.

ok, this is what i get when i listen to it, could be wrong, but seeing as noone else seems to be posted a meaning, i'm gonna try anyway.

He is totally in love with this girl, she is all he sees, but she doesn't see it, she's empty inside, and she's not happy.

He feels like she's off in her own little world, she's ahead of him and although he tries to catch up and enter her world, he just can't. She won't let him in, she may not realise he feels this way, and he doesn't understand why she can't see it and why she won't let him in. He loves everything about her "embrace every thought, every word, everything".

He is so close to her that he thinks she should be able to see how he feels about her, but she's still hung up about an old relationship (which may or may not have been with him). She's till thinking about this relationship and cut by it ("bleeding thoughts"). She's been hurt, "open wounds still breathing" and she's not over it yet.

lost in time again.
Shadows bringing me down, jealous of your face,
drowning in your awe. "
He is so in love with this girl, he has no hate for her or for anything, and he is in his own little world thinking about her ("lost in time again"). The "shadows" that are bringing him down could be the hurt that the girl still feels about her previous relationship. He is drowning in her awe, he thinks shes so beautiful and loves her so much but it's killing him. Although, i have heard that drowning is a peaceful way to die.

When you're sad, you cry, so the tears of unseen light could be him expressing his sadness that she doesn't see his love, "unseen light" (the light could be his love for her). But he still has hope that it will work out.

The truth brings new meaning, you're my everything,
and time stands still."
Gotta love this ending. The truth has finally come out, but we don't know how she has reacted! She is still his 'everything' though, and she is still the only thing he sees.

Well that's all I have to say, i hope this makes sense. I don't know if it's right or not, but this is what i think the song is about. It's kind of sad in a way, but beautiful at the same time. What do other people think it's about???

mannnn, i love this song and my friends band is covering most of their songs. along with the starting line wooooo. but yea i just had a little problem with the people that were the first to write in here about the "punk" crap. but whatever. and yea i agree with punkNnerd.. there SHOULD be more asians in bands. THIS SONG IS BY FAR THE BEST RUFIO SONG...THE LYRICS ARE AWESOME AND ITS JUST MAGICAL HAHA...yeah i heard the 3 new songs on the ep its not as good as perhaps i suppose...kind of unoriginal stuff but its just an ep they don't put the best songs on those so i'm not too worried

Ok, I absolutely love this song, but what really ticks me off is all of the gosh darn spelling mistakes in the lyrics above...but oh well! It is still a really good song and it was also the first Rufio song I heard(thanks to my Punkzilla cd) and since April I have been a fan of Rufio-the band and their music. Well, until next time, keep fit and have fun and keep listening to Rufio!

The bass is more difficult than average but if you're lookin for osem ahrd bass, try "Goldfinger - Walking in the Dark"

That has the most difficult bass line that ive ever heard.

Still was teh song that got me hooked on rufio and it will always be my favorite. But, the more i listen to it, i have to wonder....WTF was teh drummer thinking when he came up with his part??? I mean its just fuckin crazy and it doesnt fit the song that well

i dont know why but id have to say that this is my ultime favorite song by RuFiO im still pissed though that i missed their concert in cleveland! i know it woulda kicked major ass, saying this is one of the best bands i know.. and i hope it stays underground, i dont want it going all pop figure =\
