There's a war going down between my brothers tonight
I don't want no war going down tonight

Civilization ha I call it as I see it
I call it bullshit you know I still cannot believe it
Our evolution now has gone the way of hate
A world evolved resolved in this stupid fate

Stop this... war!

All so different yeah I say were all the same
All caught you know in the division game
Self destruction fast impending like a bullet
No one can stop it once its fired no one can control it

A final word, wait it's not a call to action
We ain't no sect, no this ain't no fucking faction
Unity, unity you've heard it all before
This time its not exclusive we want to stop a war

Unity as one stand together
Unity evolutions gonna come

General Comment:This song is the shit. I mean its true for todays society as well. We are conditioned on a mass scale to fear and hate the Muslims by saying "they hate us for how we live and they hate Christians". Have any of us talked to a muslim and asked if they hate us? No we, we believe what we are told. So we fear and hate them because they are different than us because what they wear and what they do but really they are the same as you and me.

I like how it centered on UNITY as well. Its not some dude saying punk people rule and gov sucks. We need to all come together and respect one another.

General Comment:Wow, nobody has figured out the real meaning of this song, way to go!

It's about the scene in the East Bay. He was sick of the fighting at shows, and how the scene was divided.

General Comment:Hey guys, I heard that it's not
"Stop this war" and "a war going down tonight"
    It's wall.
Like there is a wall coming down between my brothers and I.

Like there's something that's separating them.
A friend of mine talked to Tim and that's what Tim said.
Also, it makes more sense to me.

General Comment:Guys, you don't quite see the song as a song. Yes, it has meaning under it, but its a song. Yes, the world should unite, skins aren't all facists, Ever heard of a SHARP? Skin heads against racial persecution. Take the song for what it is, dont say you agree with the song and then turn your back on it. I hope some of you take this to heart, as it needs to be

General Comment:man, and this song's title is "unity."

the people here couldn't be less united. unity, man. it's pretty self-explanitory. all the scenes come together, no fights, no "wars", not much conflict.

General Comment:why is everyone relating this to politics shit & the actual war? i think the word "war" is used in this song meaning arguments or fights, not actual WARS..

it's about everyone being equal - the ska scene is really against racism, hence the "Ska Against Racism" tour..i'm not sure if the ska scene is also anti-homophobic, but Leftover Crack's "Gay Rude Boys Unite" shows it is..so this song is probly just trying to get it's way to all the ignorant people who are so prejudice

General Comment:this song is very good not just because it sounds great but the message we should all just come together and be cool with each other, not only with other races but with anyone. You shouldnt hate someone because they like different music from you you should hate someone if they are an ass. I think its way cool that you can go to a show and see black people, white people, latinos, and asians all liking the same stuff.

General Comment:There are few similarities between Bush and Clinton. Clinton was in between Republican and Democratic. He was Democratic, but because of Congress, was forced to give in to a lot of Republican things which made him a good president. (Not because it was Republican, but because there was a balance).

This is obviously about stopping the war which is something we need to do but people who keep saying that we need to try for world peace... that's really stupid. War is part of the human race's basic instinct. It's our job to stop each individual war though. There are no shortcuts there. It's an ongoing struggle and it's never going to end unless we all take pills that nerf our emotions.
