Buh duh buh buh buh
Bud duh buh buh buh buh buh buh buh
You go right through me
I go right through but I'm about to
Go on reminding you I am about to see you through it
Buh duh buh buh buh
Bud duh buh buh buh buh duh buh buh
Buh duh buh buh buh
Your mouth not mind is open wide
You don't have a clue
I, I am a reminder
You've got a voice so talk to yourself
Lift the bad weight off your molars
And let the thoughts fall off your tongue
Because I'm calling, calling, calling
I've never written to anyone
So this is about ugly lovers
And this is about pretty sons
Because I'm a bastard, bastard, bastard
In my lipstick I'm so much fun
Connect your wood feet to a motor
And the chrome dance trophy is won
A little classy plastic lumber
I'm embarassed but I ain't that stunned
Looks like the humans' days are numbered
That's a sitcom that was number one
Because we're a past tense late reminder like always
I must've thoroughly failed to convince us not to mess this place up
(Shameful, shameful, shameful)

1. Isaac has always seen himself as ugly - Why do you think he named his side project Ugly Casanova? Why do you think he turned to alcoholism for his early years?
2. He's always had a sarcastic view point about materialism (Diamonds On the Face of Evil), pretentiousness (Talking Shit About a Pretty Sunset) and religion (Styrofoam Boots). He sees the stark contrast of ugly people and beautiful music, maybe some existential point of how he could get laid as a musician (he was 17 at the time I read somewhere)
Like Ugly Lovers (the song) and Pretty Suns (talking shit about a pretty sunset)
maybe I'm wrong. Who knows
but then i continued down the list and found that the one mr. dick was being a dick to had commented back, and he did a much better job than i wouldve done.
so right on yankeeboystevel, you kick ass.
and if only had isaac's lyrical capabilities...
they don't have a clue because normal peeps whom havnt tripped on mushrooms and understood such openminded things don't realize what they are overlooking.
in my lipstick im so much fun is kinda random even for isaac.
comparing our life on this planet is suggesting some other species is watching us, prolly cheribim, or nephelim. its saying that the end of the world is coming because we f'd the planet which we live on and which we are supposed to be taking care of. we were told that we have dominion over the animals and all living things on this planed. what do we do with this awesome gift. well we kill everything, including each other. this is pissing off the race of cheribim whom are supposidly wathing over us. us being the race of man.
at least thats what i think this song is about. :)
but for some odd reason...its called From Point A to Point B on the album I got and I think the song is really called Classy Plastic Lumber because it took me forever to figure that out
Modest Mouse...pulling a fast one on us haha
And this is about pretty songs"
should be
"so this isn't about ugly lovers,
and this isn't about pretty songs"
the following line explains it, "i'm a bastard, bastard, bastard"
obviously isaac brock doesn't care much for lyrics including happy endings
