Lyrics for Another One Bites The Dust as interpreted by kevin

Another One Bites The Dust Lyrics
Steve walks warily down the street
With his brim pulled way down low
Ain't no sound but the sound of his feet
Machine guns ready to go

Are you ready hey are you ready for this?
Are you hanging on the edge of your seat?
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
To the sound of the beat yeah

Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone and another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey I'm gonna get you too
Another one bites the dust

How do you think I'm going to get along
Without you when you're gone
You took me for everything that I had
And kicked me out on my own

Are you happy are you satisfied?
How long can you stand the heat
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
To the sound of the beat look out

Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone and another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey I'm gonna get you too
Another one bites the dust

Hey
Oh take it - Bite the dust bite the dust
Hey Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust ow
Another one bites the dust he he
Another one bites the dust haaaa
Ooh shoot out

There are plenty of ways that you can hurt a man
And bring him to the ground
You can beat him
You can cheat him
You can treat him bad and leave him
When he's down
But I'm ready yes I'm ready for you
I'm standing on my own two feet
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
Repeating to the sound of the beat

Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone and another one gone
Another one bites the dust yeah
Hey I'm gonna get you too
Another one bites the dust
Shoot out

Great song, although a friend of mine once told me the song was written about his illness (for those of you dont know, he died of AIDS in 1991) but the song was written way before he even knew about the disease. Just wanted to clarify

This was originally written to suggest a sort of western theme, cowboys and shootouts and all that stuff, but it developed into more of a street theme and that's what stuck...

Did all you losers know that if you recite Hamlet's "To be or not to be" soliloquiy backwards that it says "Frank Sinatra is God!" please get a life! No, Hamlet does not work that way, but please take MY evil hidden message, not everything is planned. How many times have you said something that some one else took as a sex innuendo that wasn't meant as such? Plus, John Deacon (the author, no it was not Freddie) wrote simple songs, he admits to it, plus just look at the content. if you want to look for hidden meanings why don't you try maybe one of Freddie's songs, or Brian's especially, but John? plus if there's arguement over what it says? come now. Let's get passed the obsession with Drug innuendo and try to discuss music like mature law abiding people.

This song rocks! I have never heard it played in reverse, but Queen was pretty wild and I wouldn't doubt if they purposely put messages about maryjane in it.
P.S. Anyone know where you can download or listen to the song w/ lyrics?

I knew that when I looked at this song, everyone would be talking about the the backmasking... haha. I think it was unintentional, but it real _does_ say, "It's fun to smoke marijuana" when played backwards. I didn't believe it, either, but tried it some years ago, and it's incredibly clear. Again, probably coincidence, though. Now, if it said, "It's fun to be bisexual," I'd have sworn it was deliberate... ;-) Don't get me wrong; This is one of my favorite groups, and the world will never see another Freddie.

WHAT?? how does hamlet's soliloquy say "Frank Sinatra is God"? are you kidding me? Shakespeare wrote Hamlet hundreds of years ago!! Frank Sinatra is old, but not THAT old!!!

I think this song is either about Vietnam, or a large city with heavy gang activity.

I think you are all idiots who argue over stupid things. Hidden messages are coincidence most times.

You guys are crazy. I went to that site you posted, post amour, and listened to the songs that are supposedly backward. There is no way that they say "It's fun to smoke marijuana." How do you get that out of "tsud eht setib eno rehtona?" I also listened to the Led Zepplin one. The same deal. It's all computer modified.

Unless of course they recorded something over the words backward so that when you play it backwards, you hear the "message" instead of the actual words backward...

I'll chime in with another comment on this page. I was talking about this with my teenaged daughter, and she mentioned the alleged backmasking. I was incredulous, but remembered that it'd be easy as pie to check with a 4-track recorder (which I had). We tried the experiment. Damned if I didn't come out a believer! The message *is* as clear as a bell! Plus, I believe they did it on purpose: I mean, why the heck not? It's not some kind of big conspiracy theory to suggest that people would think this was a fun thing to do, and it wouldn't be all that hard. Just play the target message backwards, see if it sounds like something grammatical, and if it does, bingo! Just incorporate that grammatical message as a bullet in your hit song and you're ready to bear Satan's love child! Ha!

OK, first of all if it was made to reverse like that Queen didn't do it. Why you ask? THEY DIDN"T WRITE THE SONG! John Deacon did, so you are all just completely fucking retarted. I said it.

well i never said that it was them who put it in there, and it was never said that it was written into the song like that because it could have been put in there during the editing phase of making the song, or it could have been completely accedental and people are just making a big deal out of it but whatever...
