    Song Meaning:Exactly, Me Too BabyClyde. Can someone younger and hipper than me tell me what that lyric means? One hand in my pocket". Is also used by Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam in the song ONCE. Which is about a guy losing control of himself, to violence and becoming disenfranchised with his world.

    But what does it mean? I have a feeling it is something that is not Bad. Or am I wrong ... and the hand in the pocket is to grip a weapon, or secure a wallet, or something? Keeping a grip on oneself? lol . I dummo either !!

    My Interpretation:Hand in my pocket = symbolizes hesitation, apathy, indifference, disengagement, reservation, misgivings, fear

    The other one is...
    giving a high five
    flicking a cigarette
    giving a peace sign
    playing the piano
    hailing a taxicab
    = all symbolizes the openness and enthusiasm to experience and seize what life has to offer

    Even with the all the uncertainty of the hand in pocket, as long as the other hand is doing all these things above, everything is going to be just fine, fine, fine.
