All is love, is all I am
A ball is all I am
I'm so new compared to you
And I am very small

Warm glow, moon bloom
Always need a little more room
Waiting here seems like years
Never seen the light of day

All around I hear strange sounds
Come gurgling in my ear
Red the light and dark the night
I feel my dawn is near

Warm glow, moon bloom
Always need a little more room
Whisper low, here I go
I will see the sunshine show

General Comment:This song is so simple, but so beautiful. It is one of those tunes that you repeat play on a hundred times.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't it David Gilmour and Rick Wright that share lead vocals on Embryo? Live in Montreaux in 1969 David and Rick sang it, and did so at every other live show going forward -- until 1971 when they dropped it from their tour set list.

David has that very haunting, soft lullaby-like voice. David and Rick are hard to tell apart -- if they are both singing, or if it is David harmonizing with himself through multi-tracking, but Roger sounds totally different.

General Comment:Has anyone heard either versions of this song from the BBC sessions? They make the released version on Works seem boring. I highly recommend it. PM me @ BrassMonkyJunkie on AIM if you are interested.

General Comment:I found a 9 minute version of this song (the live one, I think), but it is lacking in some areas. It's very different musically, and even slightly different lyrically. Still very good though. Just not as good.

General Comment:I just bought the live version (but I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet), and I hope it's as good as you say.

While this would have been a good closing song, it doesn't really fit on Ummagumma, in terms of how it sounds. I like it better as it did come, off of Works.

General Comment:This song is an Ummagumma outtake by Roger Wates, but he dropped it in favor of Several Species. I guess he just wanted a "differnt", more experimental song.
However, I wish this was on Ummagumma as the closer for the studio disc.
The Grand Vizier's Garden Party isn't bad, but it's no good closer. The Narrow Way would have been better, but the perfect closer would have been Embryo.
