    I don't think that was the message he was trying to portray. I think he was saying that he's only human so he can't be perfect all the time.

    I'm pretty sure by faithful, he meant full of faith and never giving up even in the hardest times; not a reference to being faithful in a relationship. You may disagree, but in my mind, when I consider "a man should be faithful" along with "and walk when not able," as well as, "and fight 'til the end, but I'm only human," together it seems to refer to never losing hope or giving up, rather than cheating on someone.

  My Opinion:Hmm .. I've never really listened that much too this song, even though I'm a huge fan of Michael Jackson, but I think it's a good song and the lyrics are so magical. Wow, how can anyone write so good & true lyrics? :D
  
  But I think it's sad, that's why I don't listen much to it .. It sounds like he's about to break down in tears at the end .. He probably did. He got very emotional when he sang his songs, especially the sentimental ones. I swear I saw a tear roll down his left cheek when he performed this song back in 1991 or something .. It's so sad, it makes me so sad when he's crying just b/c of a song .. :/

    me too:( I was watching him sing She's out of my life on this tour in Japan, and he actually started crying. I couldn't believe how truly sensitive he was. I can't even imagine how the press must have gotten to him. It made me cry. :(

    @wayla1234: he was prolly thinking of diana ross when he sang she's out of my life, else he wouldn't have actually cried. but he was very good with the emotional stuff -- he could sing a song with so much emotion that it'd make u feel the same he did. he can make u cry juz with his VOICE. now that's what i call amazing.

    I agree. This song didn't get enough attention or notice. Neither did a lot of his really inspirational songs like Earth Song for ex. After 1993 a lot of people stopped liking him and decided to believe what the media said. So stupid.

  General Comment:I will admit, I judged Michael for all his crazy antics. But after he passed way, I bought this song and started listening to it. I realized how he was just trying to find his way, but with EVERYONE watch his every move he couldn't never find his way. He was only human, I highly doubt anyone of us could handle his pressure.

  I think this song is meant for everyone that knew him. His family, his friends and his fans.
  It just says "look, I'm a man, I'm human, I make mistakes. But I'm capable of loving you with all of your flaws, can you say the same when it comes to me?"

    No. The song is not about "MJ and someone" rather it's about MJ reaching out to a spirit entity or force of some sort for consolment or relief or rescue from the quagmire of his present condition. This is evident in the lyrics for example:

    (I Will Feel Blessed)
    Also possible is that he is speaking about a sexual desire for someone or something here. I added the meaning after the dash:

    gosh how can u even think that kinja?! michael might have been dirty-minded, but that doesn't mean he put that in his songs -- he always made sure to put decent things into his songs, becuz he was a great opposer of subliminal message and hollywood shit. well, decent except swear words to express his rebellious messages?
