    I know much about mj it's scary, mj said that his fans learned about him from afar off-mj's won words. Well what I was going to say is that the song was "DEDICATED" to liz taylor, and so was one of mj's songs dedicated to a little japanese boy who was murdered in 1987, and mj heard about it and stated to the aduience that his next song was dedicated for him. You can see this on mj's "bad tour" in 1987 in Japan, so dedicating is totally different from what the actual song is about which was about a "liberian girl" from Africa. Oh and to say that mj made this song in 1983 way before he was introduced to liz taylor, mj made mention of the song during his "unauthorized 1983 home video" that you can see on youtube, so the song was about a "liberian girl" NOT liz taylor. And I hate to say it but it was really about diana ross, she's african descent, of course mj will not totally expose what the song mean which is why he named it "liberian girl" to throw people off but it's really about an african american girl Diana Ross, mj wanted to marry her back in 1983 and mj stated in the song:

    And what other lady that you know that came and changed mj's world and who is liberian descent, african descent but diana ross, mj was totally in love with diana ross and a lot of his songs were about her, he loved diana for years even after she got married, he just could'nt stop loving diana ross- "i just can't stop loving you", mj even left his wil to her and he admitted in his moonwalk book how much he loved diana and was jealous when she married and this was during the bad era, so the song was about diana ross and dedicated to liz taylor for being a nice loyal friend.

  General Comment:I don't have any idea why you all think Omar is his son...I don't even know who that is, so whatever. Anyway, this song is amazing, the video is a little strange, but I loved the part at the end when it showed him. He had the cutest smile and laugh:) It was so childish and adorable :D

  General Comment:I don't believe Omer is his son. Even Omar said he wasn't. Michael first met hit because of his dancing. In Michael's will it says he has 3 children and no others alive or dead. I'm sure Michael wouldn't leave his son out of a will if he has a secret one. Besides that means Michael had Omer at 25 and i believe michael stayed a virgin until marrage

  General Comment: 100% believe that Omer is Michaels son.He looks just like him back in his beat it days. it’s crazy. And thinking back I think that his song Liberan girl was about Pia, Omer’s mother. It was realsed around the same time they got together back in 1987..What is your thoughts???

    I don't think Pia is Liberian and not only that but Omer has denied that rumor and Omer also does not look 1/2 black. Why do we have to think that ALL of MJ's songs are auto-biographical.Maybe he was looking at tv one night and thought of this. Maybe one of his friends were dating a Liberian girl and decided to write this, maybe he was in Liberia and so a pretty Liberian girl and wrote this without even talking to her. I agree this song so beautiful, but I think we pick MJ's songs apart too much and then try and connect them to some part of his life. There are alot of songs that he has written that is auto-biographical, but not all. I do miss him though :)

    yes, marie7334 i agree with you on this..people always try to make his songs seem like some secret message about his hidden children, omer has denied this when he could have easily went along with the rumor for show but didn't because he didn't want to live a lie, also he looks nothing like michael jackson...do you remember michael in the 80's era? he was drop dead perfection..untouchabke..srry noone could look like that even if they deeply put money and art into creating themselves that way..he's all natural amnd adorableness! mmm! but any ways michael said he was playing ping pong at his house in his arcade room when thinking abouut this songs lyrics..he said this in ebony magazine interview..watch it and look at him to see that he really was truthful about this and laughed it off.

    I mut say Liberian girl is a very beautiful love song, meaning this song could be about a woman he cared deeply, (like his nanny) who he took a lot a places with him with out the kids. He was very mytereous and he liked it that way to me from observing over the years the things he did. It's very possible that this woman could be a Liberian. They are saying NOW that this was his secret love He did keep his kids out of the public til his funeral, Now They see he was a great father NOT the Crazy Wako THEY kept calling him. He had a woman he loved and it was this liberian whom he sanged about. Now he deserve his peace.

  General Comment:This is one of my favourite MJ songs due to being half Liberian. Whilst the song is dedicated to Elizabeth Taylor I don't think the song is about her it wouldn't make much sense.
