This song is about how you wish it could work out with that girl or guy, but for some reason or another there is something in the way. After thinking about it you don't know what to do, or what is best. And you wish it could just all work out.

yeah like theres something in the way and you think you should just move on but you don't want to cos you wanna be with that person so much and you don't think anybody could care about them as much as you do but you know it's not gunna work and you just "wish it didn't have to be so bad"

a little while ago i broke up with my boyfriend, and right now she's with another guy, who i know doesn't love her and shes having doubts. and even though there were problems with us i know we still love each other and i wanna give us anotehr shot. so this song, right now, sums up how i feel, with the whole "So Ill see you with another guy Who pretends not to hear you when you cry" and "Is it something Ill regret? Why do I want what I cant get?". so that's what the song means to me right now.

This song is awsome, I really listen to alot of there songs when im low its really really good "I wish it didnt have to be so bad" i think this song is all about seeing this girl you really liked with someone else and you know you could have been the best person to make her happy even if she could never see it *sigh* jus like this girl i am in love with "Ill be moving on" clearly shows that he is trying to get over it

The song was written about a chick in the music business... But the relationship could never work because of her position, hence the line "Forget your job for just one day" and "Either way our band get dropped"
and also 'why do i want what i cant get'?
Anyways personally... this song to me means so much! So good to relate to
"So Ill see you with another guy
Who pretends not to hear you when you cry" I love that part.

'Wendy Clear' is a song Mark wrote about this girl he had a crush on. He liked her but he really couldn't date her because she was a very influential person in the music industry. So them dating was a very tricky situation. 'I wish it didn't have to be so bad,' is how the song goes

totally agree with Wendy__Clear, this song is blink absolutely best song ever.

Both "Why do I want what I cant get" and "I wish it didn't have to be so bad" are easy simple lines, but truly from Marks heart.

I love this song and can totally relate to it cuz i have something going on with my boss at work, but because of work we can't be together. Why do i want what i can't get???? I wish it didn't have to be so bad!!!! Ah that is just how i am feeling right now...
