I've been to parties just like this and seen girls just like the one described in the song. And you know that feeling..when you just want to stay home but you get dragged out by friends anyway...this song captures it perfectly.

"wise well-constructed disguise" makes no sense. She hardly sounds like someone you'd describe as "wise." I'd say it's a reference to Pennywise. Their first album was "A Word From the 'Wise"... as you can see Pennywise can be shorted as 'wise.

haha I do... I noticed it like 5 or 6 years ago when I got the cd... wow that was a long time ago.. i was like.. 9 lol... but I always thought it said human fuckers.. lol
