Run, run, run, run
Run, run, run, run
Run, run, run, run
Run, run, run, run
You better make your face up with your favorite disguise
With your button down lips and your roller blind eyes
With your empty smile and your hungry heart
Feel the bile rising from your guilty past
With your nerves in tatters as the cockleshell shatters
And the hammers batter down your door
You better run
Run, run, run, run
Run, run, run, run
Run, run, run, run
Run, run, run, run
You better run all day and run all night
Keep your dirty feelings deep inside
And if you're taking your girlfriend out tonight
You'd better park the car well out of sight
'Cause if they catch you in the back seat trying to pick her locks
They're gonna send you back to mother in a cardboard box
You better run
Run, run, run, run
Run, run, run, run
Run, run, run, run

I'll never understand why they released this song the way they did, it has so much potential. It has such a great guitar piece, if you heard it on PULSE or The Dilicate Sound of thunder you know what I"m talking about. The vocals from the wall live, with Gilmour and Waters alternating lines is also incredilble. The studio version is a good song but sucks in comparison to the live versions.
I agree completely with you. I just saw the Wall live last night, and the way they played it blew my mind. The guitar solo was one of the most powerful bits of the concert, I was in awe. Compared to that, the album version, while still great, is a little lacking.
