Lyrics for All The Small Things as interpreted by piesupreme

All The Small Things Lyrics
All the small things
True care, truth brings
Ill take one lift
Your ride best trip
Always, I know
Youll be at my show
Watching, waiting, commiserating

Say it aint so, I will not go
Turn the lights off, carry me home
Na, na......

Late night, come home
Work sucks, I know
She left me roses by the stairs
Surprises let me know she cares

Say it aint so, I will not go
Turn the lights off, carry me home
Na, na......

Say it aint so, I will not go
Turn the lights off, carry me home
Keep your head still, Ill be your thrill
The night will go on, my little windmill

Say it aint so, I will not go
Turn the lights off, carry me home
Keep your head still, Ill be your thrill
The night will go on, my little windmill

Listen, I'm not trying to start anything but this is how I feel about punk. It started out back in the day as political "fuck the man" music for frustrated hipsters that saw the corruption thats still everywhere written to educate the ignorant and pump the fuck up those who saw what was going on. Also, there are songs by these first punk bands that were written to offend those who couldn't take a joke and also written about things happening in their lives that they wished to reflect on a little more. As punk evolved it got more into unconformity and being unique and different mostly through how you dressed and acted, then into introspection and thinking differently. This is how Blink went as well. Older punk and newer punk isn't worse or better then the other, its just different and I feel Blink had political songs, unconformist songs about being different, and introspective songs. They sing and write about what they feel and a shit ton of people can relate to it and laugh with it and I thank god for them.

I love blink and i really dont even like this song. its overpalyed and really not that great up there with what's my age again and adam's song. i really love blink but not their top hits if you want good blink listen to cheshire cat that is my favorite album.

Also blink is not pop in any way but i wouldnt go so far as to call them true punk i think being categorized as pop punk is perfect.

anyways other than all that blink still is my favorite band they rule!

I remember reading a long time ago that they needed one more song for their album, and so they wrote this in like, ten minutes. And that they had to call up a bunch of different people to make sure they were using the word "commiserating" correctly. So I think its a safe bet that this song means absolutely nothing; its just a bunch of words strung together because they rhyme.

Wow, I heard this song today for the first time in ages. It's now stuck in my head!

Anyway, I heard the dude wrote it for his wife 'cause she was on his case for writing songs about his ex-girlfriends and not her.

I really like this song, it's one of my favorites. it's so simple yet so good. i don't think that they're posers, i think that blink-182 made really good music. if they became popular, it's because their music is good, and they are very sucessful, they are really a one of a kind band, they are themselves.

ehhh, i still think blink is one of the best bands ever. they were so many other bands inspiration, tom delonge has an amazing voice, i like how he pronounces his words like he does, even though they completely blow live :/

but i think its cute how he wrote this song for his gf (:

Pure crap, why deos the singer pronounce his words like that, its just bad. Its almost like he is trying to suck. I just dont get it, why deos this band even exist. Backstreet boys suck to, but they even look like gods compared to this crap. People who like this need to start listioning to real music.

I'm not 100% on this one but I think this song is mostly a critique of Kantian idealism told from the perspective of a brain in a vat

As if I care what they are, or who they've sold out to (or haven't). I like their music, and that's what it's about. This song isn't their best, but it got them noticed, and quite honestly -- it's freaking hilarious.

If a band can make fun of themselves and other bands, that only earns respect from me. ;3
