Lyrics for Another Brick In The Wall (Part 3) as interpreted by Demau Senae

Another Brick In The Wall (Part 3) Lyrics
I don't need no arms around me
I don't need no drugs to calm me
I have seen the writing on the wall
Don't think I need anything at all
No don't think I'll need anything at all
All in all it was all just bricks in the wall
All in all you were just bricks in the wall

I just left a comment in The Wall (Part 2). The wall visualises his protection against the world. Writing on the wall symbolizes realising that he doesn't really need a wall to protect himself. He'll either get hurt anyway, or he was just running away from things that don't scare him anymore!

the character is convincing himself that he can live without whatever he has sought throughout his life. love, and help.
when he says "i have seen the writings on the wall" he is saying that he knows the whole deal. the medication doesnt work, perhaps it makes the situation worse, and it seems that whoever hes loved has left him. he knows how it is. and he is denying his own need for such things. sour grapes

Yeah, and usually, the writing on the wall tends to be a warning of some sort. Not just in this song, but for a long time, like since biblical times.

The writing on the wall are all of the things everyone on the other side of the wall are throwing at him.

in the beggining hes talking about how he anyone or anything. the writting on the wall is saying that he can jest hide behind his nice wall from everything and everyone. "all in all you were all jest bricks in the wall" heer hes saying that even his friends and family helped to build the wall around him.

Sounds like he's beating against the wall or tearing it down in the beginning. He's talking about how education, drugs, even those who love you are something to keep you walled in and preventing you from what you want to become.

no it is an emotional or pscological wall that he built to protect him self from the out side. No one is inside so he cant get burned. Pink had an horrid life. His dad dies in war, his mom is over protective, his school sucks, his wife is cheating on him, he breaks down and the raod manager has to drug him to perform, then he turns into a neo-nazi guy, finally he tries himself and he forces himself to "Tear Down The Wall".

Pink (the character in the movie) is saying he doesnt need anything from anyone. Seeing the writing on the wall, i think means he knows what the wall is going to do, then he says again that he doesnt need anything at all... He has accepted what is going to happen. The last two lines are pretty much representing his whole life, every song before this.

Pinks childhood screwed him up far too much.... once he woke up to the world behind the "wall" it was all to late .... his mother went to far "mother did it have to be so high?" as is in "mother" so by this time hes preparing for overdose which is explained in comfortably numb

Angie Chrsit has it right. The phrase writing on the wall is just an expression. It means you finally see the truth that's been staring you in the face all this time. The Wall IS about emotional walls but Roger Waters did perform The Wall live in Berlin after, I think, the Berlin wall came down. In other words he was applying it to their situation at that time even though he didn't write it about that.

In order to fully understand what they are saying you have to listen to part 1 & 2 also. Part one has to do with his father dieing in a war before he was born. Part two has to do with people controlling you. As for the another brick one the wall I think it stands for all the soilders that died in the past wars and all they got was their name on a wall. Just another brick in the wall. Because pretty much thats all they get.

The writing on the wall I think is a smbol of the truth and and the first two lines are saying he'd rather have the harsh truth than comforting lies

I think this song means that hes stuck so deep inside the wall that other comforts cant cheer him up and i think the writing on the wall sybolises that people are trying to get him out of it by telling him that theres nothing wrong and that everything is ok
