Waters was such a moron, his lyrics suck so hard on selfpity and if people stopped confusing complicated music technique with a good song, none'd confuse Pink Floyd shit with art. Just simply to say your a dumbass and an asshole. Not only is the interpretation of the song almost completely false, but your take on pink floyd and roger waters is completely fucked up and wrong. This album is one of the best produced in the history of music, that is just simply undeniable. And the lyrics are phenomenal not anywhere near "Shit". I understand the entire album in it's complexity and its obvious that you don't.... so don't comment on this song, give people the improper meaning of the song, and then insult the perhaps greatest band in history. You are entitled to your opinion, but now that you have put it out in the open GO FUCK YOURSELF.
At the beginning he actually explains what this song means and I too agree with this interpretation. Having owned and listened to a lot of floyd and also jamming to it with friends, well, I'm no authority, but it's a reasonable interpretation. Cheers and no F.U. required :-)
