The story behind that is Mark read a letter someone sent him as an email, that a kid wrote before he committed suicide to his parents. We kind of got together and wrote this sad, slow song. It came out sadder than we ever thought it would, which is good too. Any song that moves you is good. Some people listen to it and go 'Wow, that's a real bum-out of a song.' But it's one of those things, a story of a kid not being happy in his life, crossed with us being really lonely on tour. At the end of it there's a better way out, there are better things to do than kill yourself.

i have been listening to blink since 95 when i discovered ceshire cat and budda..and i think that there all about fun..and i think that all the people who come here to knock them about selling out or how there not punk should get a fuckin life and go post there opinions of "real" punk bands like the ones they just heard of like a year ago from some other fuck running around saying "ANARCHY IN THE U.K.". punk is about attitude its doing what makes you happy like going out and just fucking some shit up.. i am 21 years old and have been into punk for over half my life and i have realized that all you punks, poseurs,and people who just dont give a fuck should unite and stop bitching about whose mainstream. and who sold out or not...

okay okay. don't yell/bitch/laugh at me, but i won this single in a raffle at a britney spears lipsync contest, and it was like clouds opened up and i said, "wow, all that other music really sucks." it was from then on that i was interested in finding decent music to listen to. lo and behold the power of songs about teenage suicide. this song saved me from being someone else for the rest of my life, so i'll always have a special place in my heart for it. (there's your cue to say "aww!")
mathiuspage, i can understand what you're talking about, but just because we're 14, does that mean we can't listen to good music? yeah, i'm young, but i like to think me (and my friends) really understand punk. many people my age can't say that.

Its actually about a fan who killed himself. Mark said that he could relate because he was close to suicide when he was younger. What Royal High said was wrong but loads of people think the same thing so who cares.

this song is Still one of my all time fav's of blink's. it's powerful and has such meaning. i love blink for writing some real shit instead of all the pop stuff about love out there. oh, and for all you people out there who keep argueing about if blink is pop or punk poser's, stop your bitching. it's about the music, not whether they are on mtv or if they are now mainstream. who cares? it's music.

i love this sone..... ,tho my boyfriend hates it..... death scares us all. but i think that it is good of blink ( my fav. band) to explore that part of emotions..... this song reminds me of their new stuff ( the boxcar) ..... i love blink!!!
