Lyrics for Breathe Reprise as interpreted by Demau Senae

Breathe Reprise Lyrics
Home, home again
I like to be here when I can
when I come home cold and tired
it's good to warm my bones beside the fire
far away across the field
the tolling of the iron bell
calls the faithful to their knees
to hear the softly spoken magic spells

this fits really well at the end of "Time" since it's basically somebody returning home after they realized that they've grown old wasting their time

And this could quite possibly be the best part in Dark Side of Oz as Dorthy returns home and this plays. Wow.

It is amazing, but it's actually about a guy who comes home (home, home again, etc.) who hears a funeral bell ringing. Prayers are the softly spoken magic spells.

It really fits in well at the end of Time, because this person has wasted his life away, and now he's died.

A Poem:

called: I can't go on anymore

Je n'en peux plus
J'abandonne
Je craque
Je n'en peux plus

My last comment was not clear. The person from the beginning of the song comes home, and hears funeral bells ringing. They are for some other person just like him that kicked back and watched the years fly by.

The man (from the beginning of the song) realizes that it will be him next. And that some other guy will hear his funeral bells and realize the same thing. It's a never ending cycle.

Of course, by the time anyone gets the message, it's too late to do anything about it for you, and young people won't listen if you advise them. So the cycle is doomed to go on endlessly.

I think Dark Side of the Moon is one of the best albums ever. I like this song because that's what I'll do. When I get home, I'll sit somewhere quiet and listen to this album.

This is an ok reprise of Breathe. But I prefer the orginal Breathe instead.

I love this reprise. First time I heard it was Groove Armada's version, which had the original Breath and the reprise. That's what got me into Pink Floyd. I think this song is about life, basically. And the verse with the line, 'And ridng on the biggest wave, we race towards an early grave', that's about death, and how it always comes closer than expected.
