This song is just amazing... Listen to it if someone has left you, Listen and send this to someone you love, if your sad and lonely the song just makes you think that perhaps your not really alone and that there is someone who thinks that deep about you somehwhere.

This song has a lot more meaning now, Michael Jackson will always be in his fans' hearts and he will be here with us in the wonderful music he left us with. It's so sad of what happened, we've lost a wonderful loving person in the world.

In my opinion, it kinda just hit me now, but maybe it means like, he (or anybody else in this situation) can be so miserable over maybe a recent break up OR maybe someone close to you died and you just feel so alone and lonely, but what the chorus sounds like is that, God is telling you, you are not alone, and that he is always there with you no matter what you are going through. Because he says "everyday I sit and ask myself How did love slip away" but then he says SOMETHING whispers into his ear and says..."you are not alone".

Just a minute ago, I really listened to this song and read the lyrics and I found myself thinking about my best friend. It reminds me so much of her, almost every word of this song. She lives a few states away and we've never met in person, but we have been friends for almost a decade and sometimes we are on the phone all night until the sun comes up.

We both have dealt with loneliness and love/relationship problems, and we are always there to support each other. So the first verse reminds me of times when I was depressed about being lonely or about my ex-girlfriend leaving me, but she was always there for me to talk to.

And in turn, I am always there for her as well. Though we're far away, I am here to stay.

This is a truly beautiful song. I love the song...But the video clip?? It sucksn dude!! MJ was the best short film-maker possibly EVER, but this one was a stinker!! It consists of him doing lame-ass little spins onstage in what looks like a dressing-gown and later stripping out of this with his biatch (now) ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley...It is just disturbing and Mike really didn't do himself justice with this one.

And Gardobus is totally right about the 'closet mj-lovers'...At least some of them are starting to come out now i guess

I love this song...It's one of my favourites.

But I can't say the same for the video, unfortunately. It sucks! MJ really didnt do himself any justice at all with that video
