Whether or not Michael Jackson has done the things he does, I still know that he IS the King of Pop.
He deserves it.
Anyone in their right mind knows that MJ's a legend.
Most of the people that say crap about him are just trying to fit in. None of you really know what you're saying, you're only freakin' saying it because everyone else does. Well, start speaking for yourself. THIS MAN IS INCREDIBLE.

this song is amazing. songs like this make you wish michael jackson was still cool and still in the music industry as the cool black man he used to be before he bleached his skin and changed his nose. i do absolutely love this song and the music video. you can judge me for liking and listening to his music but you can never say something that will make me stop loving this song.

I don't let the artist's personal life influence my opinion of their music. I'm a huge fan of "Weird Al" and he's a vegetarian. I'm not a vegetarian but that doesn't mean I don't like the music. Michael has had a shady past but his music is awesome and unparalleled.

I wish he hadn't changed the way he was... he was awesome in the old days, but then he had to change for whatever reason. I just love this song... my favorite part is when the zombies randomly start dancing. Gotta love random dancing!

Michael Jackson, no matter what ANYBODY says, will ALWAYS be the KING of POP. No doubt about it.

I really can't believe he's dead. I mean sure we've all made some MJ jokes, but still he has always been an icon, even if it was for the wrong reasons. I've never been a HUGE fan, but he was definately one of the first artists I remember listening to when I was a kid.

I'm not exactly sad that he is gone, but I'm definately not excited about it either...MJ for a FACT was a gift to music. It is unfortunate that there were so many circumstances that lead many of us to forget that over the years.

In a world of cookie cutter "artists" and generic performers, Michael Jackson was certainly an individual. From his avaitor sun glasses to his rhinestone studded single glove, Jackson definitely set some recurrent trends. Eccentricity is essential to the true artist.

Thriller is the best music video ever. The song itself is a true pop gem.

Jackson may have been strange, but he was also almost always intriguing on some level.

It still pains me to think that there will never again be a MJ special on tv, no more great albums, no more rock awesome music videos. I honestly just want to wake up from this horrible horrible nightmare. I wish so much that it wasn't true.

Thriller has always been my favorite music video because it was a mini movie.

When I was little my parents used to threaten to put on this video if I didn't go to sleep. So I ran the hell off to bed and tried not to recall how the zombies pushed aside their gravestones and MJ's eyes at the end. But it was good to watch in the daytime, with my sister ..and my dad..and maybe my mum. Yup, that's how the video affected me. Michael Jackson I'll miss your imagination. No-one will make videos like you, no ones heart will beat faster in anticipation of the next fascinating music movies. You are such an inventor.

Okay, look here. Maybe he did molest the kids, though I really think he didn't. I personally think that he himself is too childlike to have done it. I think that it was pretty much a bunch of kids (him included, when I say "kids") having a sleepover. Perfectly innocent.

That aside, who made you the judge of all songs? You go through saying that three of the best MJ songs are about molesting children (even when they're obviously not; "Beat It" obviously has something to do with gang violence), and then you say that a song about shoplifting is "probally [sic] the best song wirtten [sic] ever and...the deepest one." What the hell? Well, I'm of the opinion that the song was stupid and pointless, and the singers' voices were grating. What do you say to that? Ha.

I have to agree with that to a point. Some of MJ's songs had meaning. I heard some people say that this one is about how his father beat him. Also the kids were most likely told by their parents to say that MJ molested them. I think he was innocent
