This is by far the best Michael Jackson song. :]
I never really liked him until I listened to this song. I absolutely love the beat and the bass at the start, absolutely brilliant.
Michael Jackson gets way more shit than he deserves, because his music is undeniably good.

This song sounds like it is about a man that had a love affair with a celebrity and the celebrity (billie jean) got pregnant, and had a son. The the man (jackson) denies it. Not sure, but thats my interpretation of it.

I think that Michael is amazing. He was not a molester ( at least the court says) and i cannot say he is a freak because i do not know him, but i can't say he's not one either. but in my case, innocent until proven guilty. all of the pointed fingers at jack son were from one father, and it was the same kid every 12 times in trail. EVERY TIME THE JURY SAID HE DIDN'T DO IT. That may be rigged, it may be wrong, but don't judge on things you don't know. He had amazing talent, and unless you can do better, don't say anything. And thank you rihanna for stealing from "wanna be startin' somethin'." thats all i have to say.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this song!!! It's my all time favorite song ever- and I'm not even a child of the 80's!

I think its either about the crazy groupies that followed Michael and his brother around and tried to claim they fathered their children, or about a girl who stalked Michael and said he was the father of ONE of her twins. Pretty deep!!!

This song is awesome. I fell in love with it as soon as i heard the bass guitar come in. And have you ever seen his performance at Motown 25?!?!?! It was AMAZING!!!!!!! I still get giddy inside when I watch him do the moonwalk in that sexy outfit ;) He looked REALLY hot at that performance...it was unbelievable (by the way, im a girl!!! my username's kinda confusing). His dance moves were so crisp and perfect!! He looked like a robot dancing...his moves were beyond humanly perfect. And the cutest thing I ever heard was that he cried after he performed because he thought he did horrible!!! I can't believe he thought he was bad!!!! He didn't realise he did the best until a little kid told him! He said that kids are really honest (which they are!) and that's why he believed it. He's too hard on himself and way to big of a perfectionist...and he goes out of his way to make sure the audience is satisfied. That is TOO cute!! ^_^ I love you, Michael, and always will!!!

i think michael jackson is also a tragedy just like kurt kobain but micheal was even a better artist than kurt. i think he just lose validity for his song to some people because of the sexual thing with kid. but not for me though. i believe that he was in the write frame of mind when he wrote and sing those songs it was latter that he became some body else. so i think thier is still powerful truth in his earlier works.

I don't think there is infact anything wrong with MJ. He happened to be so talented however, that he gained unimaginable fame and iconism that has made him a little mentally ill as a result. He's an excellent artist who has produced dozens of worthwhile music, and I find it interesting that people constantly hassle him when there are plenty of less successful artists that have had semi-similar/similar antics.

Yes, MJ is one of the greatest singers and entertainers of all time, but then again, O.J. Simpson was one of the best Runningbacks of all time, it doesn't change the fact that they're both Criminals who got away with serious charges. But whenever I hear MJ, I like to pretend he's still black, and not creepy.

But yeah, this song and album is amazing, I'd still say "Rock With You" and "Human Nature" are better.

I'm 18 and I LOVE michael jackson songs, especially this one. The beat, the lyrics, oooh. So great. He may be a little eccentric, but who cares, he's one of the best musicians and performers ever.

This song is my fav. by him, right along with don't stop till you get enough.

Despite popular belief or even what the KOP said himself, this song was not written by Michael about his brother's groupies. Although he might claim that he never had sex until he was married, the man is lying. I have no way of knowing this for sure but I will tell you that songs like Billie Jean and Dirty Diana were not songs written by a virgin. I feel it would be safe to assume that MJ himself had groupies himself and yes he did sleep with them. That aside. It is my opinion that MJ is the greatest solo artist of al time. He is worldwide, the best selling artist of all time both solo and all together if you add the Jackson 5, he takes out the Beatles. Don't argue with record sales. This song was his greatest work (among many great songs). His dance was the physicall embodiment of the song and that is what the moonwalk is. The success reached by Thriller the album will not be met anytime soon. Just watch!
