Don't leave me all alone
Just drop me off at home
I'll be fine, it's not the first
Just like last time, but a little worse, and

She said that I'm not the one that she thinks about and
She said it stopped being fun, I just bring her down
I said, "don't let your future be destroyed by my past."
She said, "don't let my door hit your ass."

One more chance, I'll try this time
I'll give you yours, I won't take mine
I'll listen up, pretend to care
Go on ahead, I'll meet you there, and

She said that I'm not the one that she thinks about and
She said it stopped being fun, I just bring her down
I said, "don't let your future be destroyed by my past."
She said, "don't let my door hit your ass."

Let's try this one more time with feeling
One more time with feeling
One more time with feeling
One more time with feeling

She said that I'm not the one that she thinks about and
She said it stopped being fun, I just bring her down
I said, "don't let your future be destroyed by my past."
She said, "don't let my door hit your ass."

Don't leave me all alone
Just drop me off at home
And I'll be fine

General Comment:I love this band. I like the song. And I know how it feels to be left. Years ago a man I loved posted wedding photos on his blogs shortly before we were to be together. But he never came for me. He chose someone else. I've found out since that he has chosen many "someone elses." Whenever he's down I hear from him. He's a big sweet-talker. And I know that he just wants to use me whenever he's alone or the person he's with is not adequately filling his needs. He wants his cake and to eat it, too, as the old saying goes. Apparently he wants sucker stamped on my forehead forever and he arrogantly believes he can convince me that he ever planned to be in my life. LOL. I ain't buying, and no amount of words will ever convince me otherwise. Soon the climate of his life will change and I am the last person he would ever want to be with. Heck, who wants to be with a man who finds someone boring, homely, and a weak sucker. Enough of the tangent. The band is good and the song is good. Being left behind is real and I live with the memory of it daily.

Song Meaning:The meaning is people will find what they want to find in this song. Some will say it's about break-up, and others will say it's about an on and off relationship.

Personally I think he's telling a story, but not about a couple breaking up. She's obviously kind of a bitch to him, but he obviously doesn't seem to want to deal with her either, hence the "just drop me off at home, and I'll be fine" and "I'll listen up, pretend to care". With the things she says and the things he says, mixed with the blatant sarcasm in both personalities, it's hard to say who's the one that really cares in the relationship. But maybe that's the beauty of it. It's just all apart of growing up and dating in general. As for who cares I think it's purposely designed to go either way. It's just how you want to see it and what you're currently going through, so matter what, you can relate. Genius.

General Comment:I love this song. Mark has always said that this is his favorite blink song, so I love it even more because of that.:)
I guess basically it's about a dude being so desperate to stay with his lady, but she's completely sick of him.
"Let's try this one more time with feeling" = He wants to start over again, but have it work out this time.

Also I love when Mark does his little bass solos. :D

BLINK IS THE GREATEST THING TO EVER HAPPEN TO MUSIC, AND THE WORLD IN GENERAL. Period. :)

Memory:sorry guys, but anyone who grew up in the 90's and says they don't like blink-182 is insecure with their identity and sexuality. sorry, but some bands surpass genres and ratings and become a cultural standard like blink. anyway this song absolutely describes my last relationship... i try and try but she thinks i'm not trying and thinks others can give her what i can't. she wants me but doesn't at the same time. so we both have to move on regardless of what we feel and think. feel free to shit on me... i welcome it at this point.

General Comment:I really liked this song, but then I heard the lyrics were actually produced in something like five minutes. it kind of crushed me, because i used to think these lyrics had a deeper meaning.

the song is about an ON/OFF relationship where the girl is less serious than the guy.. and the guy sees in the end that he can never be what the girl wants him to be and therefore the girl will never be serious about him.
The whole tone of this song is very ironic.

    One more time with feeling!
