He also sang it on tv (rdi i think) while Kurt Browning skated in a stars on ice thing.
It was soooo pretty..(what the...) I mean...good(?!).
I had it on tape but i taped over it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
arrg, i hate myself.........it's such a nice song!
so simple, quiet, acoustic, soothing.......

this is the only song i've ever listened to and cried. it was during that disney movie too, tho i'd heard the song many times before. good directing there.

This song was written by Ed to his brother...I wrote an interp a while ago which is too long for this but can be found here...hopes this helps :)

since i own every single cd of theirs but maybe you should drive, i hadn't heard this song before i went and saw a concert of theirs. i cry at about every movie and every song ever, but this had me teary eyed. i really love this song, and it's one of the best that i've ever heard from bnl, thou they do have like a ton of other good songs, i really actully like their soothing stuff, like war on drugs, and the flag, while i still like songs like one week and pinch me, this is a really good song.

ok, the movie Tru confessions is tragic and this song is also, but i feel bad cuz this and other osngs on this CD are some of the best BNL stuff but no one notices it

I see that nobody mentioned more than that this song was to Ed's brother. It was originally about his future wife (they married June 1994), but when his brother died in a motorcycle accident, he changed the meaning. Also, one might think that the song is a solo song until the part where Jim comes in with the violin (?).
