Nobody posted for this song?! That's insane. This is one of the songs on my "Mood Picker-Upper" CD.

I think this song is about a person who is very confused and just burried in all this "cling and clatter". He tries to explain himself, but so is everyone else, so his voice gets burried. He wants out of this confusion, but he's trapped. When someone said something that probably hurt him, it keeps ringing inside his head and haunting him. Basically, inside his head, it's just complete cling and clatter.

Jason explained this song once... I don't remember his exact words, but the basic idea was that it's about a relationship he had with some girl, when they were on that stage between friends and lover,s not really sure which road they are taking.

Dancing like an angel would".... it helps me to describe myself... the bleeding silhouette relates to me bc i cut and it helps the pain inside... and the dancing like an angel part relates to me bc i am a dancer i wish i could be better... i wish i could dance like the angels would...

Lifehouse were at their peak on 'No Name Face'. This song rocks! Unfortunately, Stanley Climbfall is nowhere near as good. Anyone else agree?

Wow… When I read other comments, my interpretation of the song seems to be way off than others. But. Here’s mine and maybe somebody else can see where I’m going with it…

The music to this song is really misleading I think. It seems so upbeat and catchy. You think it would be a happier song. But if you really pick apart the lyrics… This song has quite more of a serious nature about it. For me at least

I think this song is about the people in the world. I love the lines

I think if you put the lyrics into perspective, you see it ‘s more about how people want to mold you and change you into what they want. They don’t listen to you. They just try to bring you down.

Yes, I relate to this song in a way that is about being confused with life and the real world and trying hard to find your voice, but for some reason just can't seem to.

To me, this song is a bit of what everyone has been saying.

The first part is talking about how there's so many voices telling you what to do, and what to think, and influencing you and your actions, and just trying to find comfort or an escape from it all (Screaming in tongues on the top of my lungs/'Til i find you, 'Til you found me/Somehow i always knew that you
would")

Then the chorus is talking about just trying to figure out where you stand and just trying to get your voice out of all the things that everyone is saying. After all, your opinion and voice is the only thing that matters.

The next verse is him saying if he could, he would shut out all the voices and thoughts in his head. And it's like he knows that everyone is thinking or saying to him, even if they don't verbally say it to him.

Then, I agree with SkylarMarie11 on the "muppet dolls" verse. It's everyone trying to get you to think or believe one thing and inside you're "bleeding" just trying to find your own voice.

Personally, I don't think this song gets all the credit it deserves. It's a great song about just finding your voice between all the other forces in your life.
