i know what hes wispering....this song is about how this guy is in love with a girl who isnt all there (and now i know you've always been out of ur head-or something like that) and he loves being with her and getting on her bc she makes him feel like he isnt all there and he feels free and completely at ease...just like after you cut yourself. he is wispering a poem, a computer manual, and a lyrics to a song. sorry but i forgot what poem it was. this is another one of my songs just like shimmer by fuel

Everlong is about someone stuck out-of-town for many months working on a project he cares little about; his only solace is that his onsite team liason is a young, attractive but vulnerable designer, recently devastated by divorce.

The song explores his emotions and temptations, the mutual affection and the inevitable doom of the chance encounter; the project must end soon, he must return home and, yes, he is a married man.

It is a song of hopelessness, angst and love. Tragic and very real. Our man needs to know if everything could ever feel this real forever... If anything could ever be this good again.

I downloaded some Jeff Buckley songs and they had everything I dislike in love songs and that everlong doesn't have. They were mushy and slow. I didn't even mind to listen to the lyrics because I would have fallen asleep. Everlong is the opposite, that's why I can relate to it.

I'm surprised it's only been mentioned twice, but I definitely think it's about someone losing their virginity, albeit to someone incredibly special and amazing. It's about a night where nothing could possibly go wrong or more right.

This is easily one of the top 10 greatest songs ever, no contest.

What is the only solace from the sad end of Nirvana...Dave Grohl forming the Foo Fighters. I think the song is laden with innuendo, I may be wrong. The acoustic version of it is very chill and highly recommended. Just an old fine Foo song.

Omg this is a crazy song. For me, the chorus is the best bit. Is that weird? Anyway, I've totally made up a video clip in my head for this. The first time I heard it the images just came to me, like a VISION!! Okay, I'm being stupid, but seriously, that's never happened to me before and it means that this exact song is a totally hella cool one. It makes me sigh...{sigh} I mean, I'm only 15 and never had a boyfriend and still this song makes me go mushy. Totally emotional stuff...
Foo Fighters need to come to Australia!!! FAST!!! :-D

Man, this song is one of those that makes your heart beat a little louder and really triggers a gut feeling of being in love with someone. I think the song is about being young and stupid, but totally in love for the first time.

dude this is an *OLD* song eh?
l listened to it a lot like in the 90s...as a kid, but once l started feeling love-love it meant more, you know? l sang it to my significant other recently, well there was intimacy and then "gotta promise not to stop when l when" but yeah the original is great l love the acoustic too, acoustic is better sometimes like with LIVE's "they stood up for love" omg the original SUCKS

I love this song, I was looking for a song that could describe this girl i like and my friend skylar played it one day and sang it and i was like 'who is that and what song is it?' and he said 'everlong, by foo fighters' and so I listened to it and it describes her pefectly, its is one of my very fav songs

This song is so much better in acoustic, too bad they didn't record it properly, yet on the howard stern sounds good, so if you want it slower look for the acoustic version..this song is one of the best and a classic...
