    General Comment:Those of you making who are comments about how girls suck because they won't date you need to shut the fuck up. You're not a nice guy, and I really don't think you should consider this song your anthem in any way because it is, in fact, making fun of you. I agree with scorpyx when he/she says that this song seems to be condemning the "nice guy" stereotype that a lot of you are emulating. Ever heard of Nice Guy Syndrome? It's not a good thing.

    My Interpretation:While the beginning does seem to indicate that yeah, being the "nice guy" can suck, much of the song also seems to be a condemnation of the "nice guys" who have something of a superiority complex BECAUSE they view themselves as nice.

    General Comment:I guess it's normal to think this song is referring to nice guys going after girls. That was my reaction when I listened to this song back in the day. Listening to it now, though, I think it's just making fun of the concept of being the "nice guy" in general.

    I feel like the "finish last" part is referencing how so many "heroes" end up getting fucked over in reality. A lot of the other lines in the song seem like obvious references to the traditional definition of good guys and bad guys in comic books, and I think the rest of it is just making fun of how "good guys" work. They side step shame they've got with convenient amnesia, they make promises they can't keep, their highs are great, but their low points are terrible and dramatic, they brown nose a lot, and they can think incredibly highly of themselves on the inside.

    General Comment:I agree with alot of these ppl..women want confident men and men that will take control. If you are in High School and even college and u are "nice" girls might think you are not interesting and just a friend type. Just really be yourself don't worry about being nice or an ass just to get a girl because if u dont act like yourself its not going to work anyway. Dating can be complicated in Highschool/College.

    General Comment:Most guys have a misperception about being nice. Dont get me wrong, guys should always have manners and respect girls but being a nice guy is way different from being a gentleman. Women dont need nice guys! Think of the hero in any story, is he dashing and dangerous? Or merely nice? The world needs men who can stand up for themselves and put assholes to the ground, not nice guys. The reason why girls are more attracted to assholes is because she feels like theres someone to fight for her heart and her beauty. Stop being the needy nice guy start offering your strenght to girls who deserve it. Plz reply or comment if u agree or disagree or if u have questions
