This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.
You are stellar
Meet me in outer space
We could spend the night
Watch the earth come up
I've grown tired of that place
Won't you come with me?
We could start again
How do you do it?
Make me feel like I do
How do you do it?
It's better than I ever knew, uh
Meet me in outer space
I will hold you close
If you're afraid of heights
I need you to see this place
It might be the only way
That I can show you how it feels to be inside of you
How do you do it?
Make me feel like I do
How do you do it?
It's better than I ever knew, uh
How do you do it?
Make me feel like I do
I do, oh, uh-uh-uh
You are stellar
You are stellar
How do you do it?
Make me feel like I do
How do you do it?
It's better than I ever knew, uh
How do you do it?
Make me feel like I do
How do you do it?
Make me feel like I do, yeah
Meet me in outer space
We could spend the night
Watch the earth come up
I've grown tired of that place
Won't you come with me?
We could start again
How do you do it?

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere.
In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
No Surprises

Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.
Just A Little Lovin'

I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
Brandon Boyd- "The lyrics were inspired by my lover, Jo an English girl I met in France. It's about love as a transcendental feeling, like free-floating in outer space. It's kind of a traditional song in that way."
I think we know that supersprm57, but Brandon says it in so much a nicer way than : "You're such a great shag you."
grrr.. how can no one post on this song? i love it!
In most lovey-dovey type songs, the singer is a white girl who didn't even write the song. But this is totally different. It's sung by a guy who wrote the song about his girlfriend and although the words might not sound as smooth as some girl's voice, it's the most romantic song I've ever heard. This guy let his guard down, after being in a band that likes to scream and be very blunt. That is what I call a real man.
This song is completely beautiful. The lyrics, the meaning, and even the way he sings is amazing :]
although this song is about sex and love it inspired me in a different way. I've always liked to plan my baby names for the future, even though I'm 14 lol. It's just what we do at this age. the meaning of stellar is really inspiring to me. so i actually plan to name my boy, if i have one, Lyle Issac Stellar ( two middle names).
also this song reminds me of when your in a great relationship and all you wanna do is be alone with that person. away from the world, away from worries and your struggles. somehow when your just with them everything around you disappears.
no kidding! this song is somthing else. i love it too. its not really like incubus to write a love type song.
omg woah...everytime i hear this song it feels like i'm on soma and i feels liek im nagating through a cosmic journey as fast as 3000 billion light years..... you know like a adrelanin rush when Brandon whispers "we could spned..a..AGAIN" ...i so amazing ;)
incubus is so amazing. i love this song, it's a perfect description of the headrush you get from love
I love this song!!! Just imagine being "Held close if you're afraid of heights" sigh.
this is just the sweetest song ever. how do you do it, make me feel like i do...
