what's the use in hoping
when you always get let down
what's the use in smiling
when all you wanna do is frown
i'm drowning, in a sea of hate-filled eyes
and she's screaming
but no one hears her cries
is anybody hear to see a band
did anybody come to hear a song
does anyone believe in magic
is anybody here to sing along
people shove me down they're coming from all sides
and as i look around
something just don't seem right
I i feel so all alone
though the people inundate
I i see no joy or desperation
only senseless hate

is this the same scene
that i used to think i loved
or was i just naïve
and were they always out for blood
i've seen better days,
but i know that we can make a change
i've seen better days but we can change!

General Comment:the outro is so simplistic but so beautiful against the background of the meat of the song

General Comment:Hudson Hawk was a Wicked awesome movie...Hilarious, slightly random, but...Any movie that puts bruce willis as a burglar that can A) use the song "Swing On A Star," to burglarize efiiciency, and B) Manage to drive a rabid poodle out a window, has got to be awesome- And I see why the writer loved it. The guitars at the end, beautiful...I seriously wish I could get ahold of First Impressions, but...darnit, wouldn't you know? A kid like me that loves such an awesome band don't have time to make money...T_T And, I'm also havin too much fun trying to figure out the meanings to songs, cause it's fun, and lookin through this site's posts for thrice songs made me realize...Without a doubt, I bet Thrice is gonna be my fav band for years to come...

General Comment:I love the intro part, it's be-a-u-tiful. I went to a Finch show a few months back, and me and my friend Sophie just had a bunch of little 11-year-old twats beating eachother up in front of us. It's so stupid, they pay 12 quid to go see a band, and then just mess each other up, and their mothers never let them go again... the point? Jeez it's stupid...

I can't think of anybody I'd rather play nintendo with.. heehee

General Comment:This song was on their demo called "First Impressions" there was only 100 copies made but you can get the whole thing on KaZaA. This song is amazing.... I agree with ImUnseen the whole scene is going to shit these days with all the eleventeen yearolds trying to be hardcore. What ever happend to going to shows to support your friends band and keeping the underground alive? Now its all about "Who am I gonna try and fuck up tonight?" Damn trend following bastards! But I guess at least the underground is exploding...I just don't know anymore

General Comment:this song makes you think about how shitty it is to go shows now-a-days, everyone just wants to fight.. its bullshit, i hate going to shows where people just wanna fuck someones day up.. the other night i went to a local show and there was a fucking riot, fuck that shit, it all started from an overcrowded mosh pit, it was very insane.. thrice rocks!
