This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere.
In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
I'd like to jettison your medicine
Back to where you came from
You keep your bell and edison
Away from my grandson
Stand son on your own bone
Don't forget the home that you come from
Don't let them say your name wrong
Just like larry I'll take it to the hoop
Make one false move in one fell swoop
And then I pass it to the trigger man
Bow down to the sound if you still can
131-XHD
I got my beautiful dutiful cargo 250
(x2)
Plenty of misshalls and plenty of cat calls
And I can attest to the rest of the best stalls
But never have I ever made a match with sickness
Look both ways and dispatch with a quickness
Gimme some roy and gimme some speed
Gather all around to the world and read on
Til you get to the part that's righteous
It's an unbearable likeness
131-XHD
I got my beautiful dutiful cargo 250
(x2)
Back to where you came from
You keep your bell and edison
Away from my grandson
Stand son on your own bone
Don't forget the home that you come from
Don't let them say your name wrong
Just like larry I'll take it to the hoop
Make one false move in one fell swoop
And then I pass it to the trigger man
Bow down to the sound if you still can
131-XHD
I got my beautiful dutiful cargo 250
(x2)
Plenty of misshalls and plenty of cat calls
And I can attest to the rest of the best stalls
But never have I ever made a match with sickness
Look both ways and dispatch with a quickness
Gimme some roy and gimme some speed
Gather all around to the world and read on
Til you get to the part that's righteous
It's an unbearable likeness
131-XHD

@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday".
I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
Magical
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
Isn't this song called ya cut it ya match it? Real tight song, only played live though . . .
no they just mixed some of this song with cut it ya match it to make a remix dealy for the live version
its not only live its number 3 on "who are we living for"
I love "You Cut it, You Match It" but this one just has this sort of stupid produced funk that makes you wanna just get up n'groove. Hot shit.
just like larry ill take it to the hoop.....larry bird from the boston celtics, where they are from
ahhh, i was thinking of this song in study hall today, I just realized what the "just like larry, ill take it to the hoop" line could mean, so i come here to tell, and Spatch731 beat me to it.
oh well good work man, i love the bass line in this song, pete totally funks it up.
i notciced the lisence plate number too! and after i saw that, it hit me! they arent say "cargo 250" they're say "car go 250"!! like, they got the van to go 250 MPH!! that what i think
Just like Larry I'll take it to the hoop I make one false move in one fell swoop
Obviously thats about Larry Bird
And then I pass it to the trigger man Bow down to the sound if you still can
That would be Larry Bird passing to (the trigger man) Kevin McHale
If I had a guess this song is just about life in Boston
just throwing it out there, but i think the van is a "Beautiful Dutiful Cargo (ford E)250"
--Well, the "Larry" that they mention, may be Larry Perry, one of the many physically/mentally handicapped people that Chad, and the other dispatch guys often work with. Plus they showed him in the "How's Your News?" trailer on the "Under The Radar" DVD. Also, during one of the songs on the "UTR" DVD, (I think it was the jam-session in 'Bats') Chad picked up Larry from the audience and danced around stage with him, Larry was obviously having a hell of a time! -- Also, (as i saw on Dispatch's Myspace profile!) "131-XHD" is the liscense plate number for their van, Wimpy! [Hence the 'cargo' that they got for it] --They also must've put "in one fell swoop" in there in homage of their original band name "One Fell Swoop" Yeaaahhhh...
