    General Comment:I read somewhere that this song was about when Jimi went to someone else in the Experience's house in England.. that he was cold and tired and wanted to stand by the fire and the parents had a mean dog that was sitting by the fire and it tried to bite Jimi. Whatever it's about it's a good song, and was always played as the opening song.. can you imagine being at a concert and they start with this song?

    General Comment:The line "move over rover, let Jimi take over" actualy came from when actually encountered a guitar playing dog.

    The fought an epic battle for 5 days straight, until finally Jimi was crowned the victor, he then said this now famous line, coining it for one of his future songs.

    General Comment:idk, i guess jimi's talking to a chick. he's trying to get at her, but she doesn't want to hear it. she gives him all these excuses, but he lets her know that he just wants to *ahem, you know*. he's letting her know its ok . . . "you wont' get burned" - vd, "you try to give me your money . . . save it for your rainy day" - he's not a whore or anything, he just wants what he wants.
