    My Interpretation:To me this song is about a relationship she is in, but he is not free, they are menat to be together, but because he is in another relationship, they can't fully be together. She tries to say goodbye and to walk away because she knows it's not right, but she can't

    General Comment:Wow ok to me this song is clearly not about a breakup, It's about being a pussy with a guy or girl you really really like but are only kinda decent friends with. Lyrically, it's closer to Taylor Swift's Teardrops on My Guitar than Mariah Carey's Always Be My Baby.

    There is absolutely nothing in this song that suggests the singer and the guy she's singing to were ever together.

    No, this song is about hiding your feelings for someone, and how frustrating it is dealing with it. I can definitely relate.

    General Comment:You should all download the Ben Taylor version, it is so much better! Macy Gray's voice is so irritating, that it takes away from the lyrics. This is a really well-written song.

    General Comment:I reckon it's about wanting someone but letting the fear of getting hurt stop you from admitting your feelings and taking the risk. She probably thinks that the guy doesn't feel the same way so she just acts as if she feels nothing for him when she's around him...just friends...whilst inside she dies everytime she has to leave him :( I also get a vibe of major frustration like she feels that they could have something together and that fate has brought them together but she's just too scared and confused to find out...it's really sad but this speak for a lot of people. But hey, if you don't try you'll never know :)

    Clearly the song is about a girl who is in love with a childhood friend. The friend is someone she has always been in love with but too scared to tell because she feels he will be kinda freaked out by it and will not want to be her friend anymore. I know how this feels because there was a girl I grew up with in New Jersey and I was and remain to be in love with her to this day. I let her go. As a kid I fell madly infatuated with her. When she turned 18 she got married and moved to Seattle. I to this day, hate myself because I never told her. She could've been my wife and I never told her how I felt because I feared she would leave me, but if you dont tell someone how you feel, they will never know and may find someone else. Your soulmate may be your bestfriend so if you feel something for someone, tell them because they may feel the same way. Dont let your soul mate slip away.
