    General Comment:I think this song is about a girl that Darius met and he was really attracted to her at first, but she had a very different world view and past experience than him.

    I'm probably all wrong though. My interpretation is very directed towards my own experience.

    Oh yeah, I'm really fucked up right now, so take that into account. I go to school at Clemson in South Carolina too (Hootie went to school at USC in Columbia, so we listen to Hootie all the time here as a result).
