We-hell- I see them every night in tight blue jeans
In the pages of a blue boy magazine
Hey I've been thinking of a new sensation
I'm picking up - good vibration -
Oop - she bop -

Do I want to go out with a lion's roar
Huh, yea, I want to go south n get me some more
Hey, they say that a stitch in time saves nine
They say I better stop - or I'll go blind
Oop - she bop -

She bop - he bop - a - we bop
I bop - you bop - a - they bop
Be bop - be bop - a - lu - she bop,
I hope He will understand
She bop - he bop - a - we bop
I bop - you bop - a - they bop
Be bop - be bop - a - lu - she bop
Oo - oo - she - do - she bop - she bop

(whistle along here...)

Hey, hey - they say I better get a chaperone
Because I can't stop messin' with the danger zone
No, I won't worry, and I won't fret -
Ain't no law against it yet.
Oop - she bop - she bop -

She bop - he bop - we bop.....

General Comment:As a teen, I did think this tune was about dancing at first, but then I learned that it was indeed a reference to what i will refer to as tickling the pink tiger

This is a great song. I recently heard my very conservative and religious sister-in-law singing this to her 18 month old daughter. The daughter was smiling and giggling and enjoying every minute of it.

The best part was explaining to my sis-in-law and my mother-in-law what this song was about.

General Comment:Ah, he's talking to the wind. He's just upset because someone loves him and he is too much of a chicken to do anything about it. He's really angry with himself, which is too bad 'cause he's the cutest and brightest and most creative lil' feller anyone could ever know. (At least that's what I've been told:) And he's gorgeous...has rugged shoulders and long fingers that make me tingly all over...again, it's his reputation and I choose to believe it ;) All I have to do is mention him coming over and he falls apart. What's the movie line that goes something like 'You can't handle it." And then there's the song, "You know you want to." Yup, he doesn't get the later and he's too chicken for the now, so he's rather frustrated. (Oh, he changed screen names I see...) Anyway, just ignore him. He'll be out the door soon enough with his latest shagger...

General Comment:I love this song (and Lauper!). It's a good substitute for Internet porn ;) LOL. Lord, I am laughing at my own bad jokes so it must be time for bed. Not sex, but bed. Sex would be better, but bed's OK. Man, I'm about punch drunk due to lack of sleep. Not sure why anyone would post (recently) about a stigma attached to masturbation. Even the Catholic church (which I love) doesn't spend any time discussing this venial sin. Much like rape, the old stigmas have pretty much faded away..and with the option being sex (often unprotected and often not respectful), masturbation is not frowned upon the way it once way. Years ago there apparently were MANY men walking around blind and with hair on their palms while damned to Hell. Not sure what occurred with us women, but dainty delicate classy ones such as myself would never speak about such topics :) OK, that's enough...bedtime is a must!

General Comment:I'm really big on 80s music. LOVE IT!!! :D
but to be honest this song sorta shocked me -in a way- love the tune if it but when I found out what it was really about it kinda lost it's appeal to me ... but I still love the tune of it! :)

General Comment:I love Cindy. This is a great song.

The chorus seems to imply that everyone does it, helping to take away the stigma.

For other songs about female masterbation, check out 'I Touch Myself' by the Divinyls. It's also a classic.

General Comment:I love this song! I think it is needed since so many people are like "do girls masturbate" or girls say it's dirty and stuff.

General Comment:I was in a store once and heard this song being played as Muzak. Thought it was funny considering what it's about.

General Comment:You've got to love the chorus-background, "I don't even understand". Cyndi absolutely knew, that most people would be clueless about the meaning of the song.
