Everything about you is how I'd want to be
Your freedom comes naturally
Everything about you resonates happiness
Now I won't settle for less

Give me
All the peace and joy in your mind

Everything about you pains my envying
Your soul can't hate anything
Everything about you is so easy to love
They're watching you from above

Give me
All the peace and joy in your mind
I want the peace and joy in your mind
Give me the peace and joy in your mind

Everything about you resonates happiness
Now I won't settle for less

Give me
All the peace and joy in your mind
I want the peace and joy in your mind
Give me the peace and joy in your mind

I'm not sure what Matt's actual interpretation of this song would be, but I like to imagine it's about God.... Judging from Matt's focus on "absolution" and ideas of that nature, what other focus would make more sense than to want that feeling to be filled forever ("resonates happpiness"). I know what his views were on the church, but I'm not talking about the church.... To me it sounds like he's demanding that peace and joy.... I love that.
