I don't understand this part. I love Mazzy Star, so many great songs!
I've felt trapped in a loveless marriage,
my only refuge has been a beautiful woman (that resembles Hope) that has made everything okay for me in the past year.
Today she told me she it getting married.
I'll see her one last time tomorrow.
I knew she was seeing him as well, but he had the guts to lose everything to gain his happiness and end his marriage.

We both know that there's absolutely no future for us, and I think he understands that almost too well, but I just couldn't stop wishing that it could've gone on just a little bit longer, and that it ended too soon.
In the last few days we said so many awful things to each other that I could just feel myself ripping apart with every word..

"baby won't you change your mind" is the best part. she's talking about the way being with someone you love, even when you know the relationship's dead you still have those feelings and a part of you wants things to be the way they were. your mind and your heart's duality.
