This "song" is called "Wet My Bed", not "Wet My Eyes"

I don't think the meaning of this song is overly deep...

The music is trippy, and it sounds like he's pretty stoned. He got ready for Mary to come over and spend the night and she's missing. She's probably off somewhere too messed up on drugs to move--->"check the bathroom"

At the end he's just too messed up to comprehend what's going on.

Obvious reference here---> "water cleanses" talking about baptism.

I think he was high when he wrote/recorded this song. It's pretty obvious when you hear it and read the lyrics.

I think he's imitating someone who's high, but he didn't do drugs until after this CD. And I think Mary is his future wife's name, which is weird.

Why do I know these things?
