    General Comment:It's a love song. He is begging Yoshimi to "save him" from the "evil robots" in a metaphorical sense. The "evil robot" is the mechanized, bureaucratic, soul-crushing nature of modern life, and he wants Yoshimi to "save him" from the disillusionment this has caused him through her love.

    General Comment:I think it could mean two things possibly. I agree with otomodachi because pt. 1 is kind of like Yoshimi's pep talk right before the battle (pt. 2). I also agree with stevezanco the first time i heard this song a close friend of mine was battling breast cancer. It only made since that the robots were pink and that is the signature color for breast cancer. And just so happens the hero battling the robot in the story is a female. Pt. 2 could be the actual struggle that she went through. (battle)

    Song Meaning:This song's about breast cancer...
    The pink robots are a metaphor for the ribbons and she has to tackle each cell and harsh moment one by one. Not matter what happens, she should be positive and not stress on life.
    Such a gorgeous song. =)

    General Comment:As far as I'm concerned this may well be just be a random little nonsense ditty about Yoshimi P-We of Boredoms (she's the girl in the video eating fruit), but the fact that there are so many differing interpretations is wonderful. Is it about love, drugs, politics, cancer, nature... who knows? Well, Wayne of course. But even if there's nothing to the lyrics beyond being a fantasy story about one of his mates, the fact that it touches so many different people on so many different levels is a weird kind of heartwarming.

    General Comment:yoshimi is not about cancer....The "Lead singer Wayne Coyne says the inspiration for the song came from a woman named Yoshimi who played with The Boredoms. He had a recording of her screaming that he thought sounded like a fight." (songfacts.com) The screaming on Part 2 is actually the voice of Yoshimi.
