Life, is floating fast away.
But I look, your head is turned away.

From the moment you left I knew that something wasn't right.
But the feeling inside has kept me up all night.

You and me are like one heart-beat.
You and me are like one heart-beat.

SO SLICE open my veins.
AND LET the romance bleed away.

From the moment you left I knew that something wasn't right.
But the feeling inside has kept me up all night.

You and me are like one heart-beat.
You and me are like one heart-beat.

Back into I thought I knew, these words inside me, tell me what to do.
My heart held, in the palm of your hand.
(Forget my name) Now I know, the way to go, this place inside my demented mind.
(Forget my name) You saw me bleeding on the bathroom floor.

(Forget my name) This time in silence, this time I win.

    "Life, is floating fast away.
But I look, your head is turned away."

It seems like he has been in a relationship with someone for a while and he realizes that it is going by pretty fast. Then he realizes that the girl hes in a relationship with isn't even paying attention to their relationship or to him.

"From the moment you left I knew that something wasn't right.
But the feeling inside has kept me up all night."

He is saying how he is now 100% positive that she doesn't care about the relationship at all, and now he is worried. Thus, he has some nervous/scared feeling that is keeping him up all night.

You and me are like one heart-beat.
You and me are like one heart-beat.

The first time he says this is kind of sympathetically saying that they belong together.. the second time he adds more emphasis, so he is kind of yelling it at her that they are meant to be, but he needs to tell because she didn't listen to him the first time.

    "SO SLICE open my veins.
AND LET the romance bleed away."

He has no option left but to cut himself. He feels that the love he had for her is draining away. He has love and pain in his blood now.

"From the moment you left I knew that something wasn't right.
But the feeling inside has kept me up all night."

He now goes back to bed, and cant sleep so he feels he needs to kill himself.

"You and me are like one heart-beat.
You and me are like one heart-beat."

He is now begging for her to hear that they are meant to be with each other.

"Back into I thought I knew, these words inside me, tell me what to do.
My heart held, in the palm of your hand."

He now thinks he knows what to do because these voices in his head are telling him to kill himself. He says that his heart is held in the palm of her hand because she basically "stole his heart" so he can't stop loving her.

"(Forget my name) Now I know, the way to go, this place inside my demented mind.
(Forget my name) You saw me bleeding on the bathroom floor."

The "forget my name" in the background, in my opinion, is the saddest part of the song, but now he starts saying that he must go into the demented part of his mind (his decision to commit suicide) He then commits suicide in the bathroom, and she sees him. (he may still be alive)

"(Forget my name) This time in silence, this time I win. Now you feel my pain."

Here he tells her that after all of these battles that they have fought, yelling at each other, ect. He now wins by killing himself, and as i stated before, the blood had the pain in it, and she has the blood now, so she will feel the pain he felt when she left him before.

Very deep meanings in this song if you look closely. Senses Fail does a great job of revealing it.

General Comment:I don't see how it's about divorce
But maybe it is some weird perspective on it.
idk. why would he feel suicidal about his parents divorce, it's not the end of the world

"But the feeling inside has kept me up all night."
i like that lyric... very relatable etc

General Comment:Heh... 'You and me are like one heart-beat.' I sort of like that line. And, yeah, whatever you want it to be... I guess.

    General Comment:Noobs L2Play plz.
It's okay if you like the band, but these lyrics are shit.
If you're gonna write lyrics about suicide at least do it like Angra in Salvation: Suicide.

General Comment:look up the vid, its about his parents divorce, although i cant see how. The lyrics to me are like an interpretation of his own romance. Then again i guess you can put it for the love / broken love between him and his parents. the song is the best by sf but not great. i think that this song is way too literal. 'slice open my veins'? and stuff like that but i still like it.
