yeah i so agree!! it's fucking sweet!! it's real anthem!! i also like the clip (especially the end when they destroy the stage!!)

anyways that song is one of the best (even if i think every GD song diserves the 1st place...)

i like Green Day alot, and i love this song, but i honestly think there are better bands who sent this message better, check out Millencolin's "No Cigar". I am not saying its a bad song, no one can really say that since, its, for the most part a matter of opinion, but this message has been sent better...

I don't know if its been said, but does anyone think it sounds like older irish rebel sounds. Or at least the stylings and the verses.

Great song though about as you all said rebellion and self dependance.

The Second best (after Basket Case). A fucking excellent song! The song is easy to understand(Being yourself, fuck what everyone else thinks!)
To me it means being the Rocker(Minority) in a Rap/Hip-Hop and all that crap Majority. a rocker within the rudeboys, basically.

it's just such a catchy song. whenever billie joe says 'fuck em all', it makes me wanna go snap on the fucking popular kids who think their bad. its a song about sticking for what you believe in, and not conforming. basically,what punk rock is all about. and somehow, they manage to put a hamonica in a punk song. how cool is that!?
