SOCO IS AMAZING. all their songs are insanely good. i can relate to like all of them. and their songs have a different sound than a lot of other music out there.

This song makes me cry when I listen to it, except then I think about how the girl Andrew wrote it for decided to give him a second chance and, as far as I know, they're still together. At that point, I laugh at myself for being so sappy, think "You devil, you" (to Andrew, not to myself), and hope that I can get the guy that's walking by to stop a little as well.

i cry too when i hear it, to me its about a guy and a girl, and one of them has to move on with their life, leaving the other behind, but not necessarily wanting to, it makes me think of my boyfriend having to leave for college and im younger, so im left behind, it just makes me sad, but its still one of their best songs

and another thing, i know im rambling but it makes me feel better....the line where he says, "And why do you look when you've already found it?"...it seems as though the person hes with is in love with him but not totally confident in the relationship, when andrew knows that the relationship is real and will be successful...it just makes me think..and cry..and im in school and people are starting to stare..lol

This is easily my favorite SoCo song of all time. Lately, I've just been listening to it, and it literally leaves me breathless--momentarily, of course. It's the prettiest song I've ever heard, and...I have to hear it now. Hold on. Okay...So, lately I've just been staying up all night...And before I go to sleep, I just listen to the song...And I'm just astounded. It's the most amazing song I've ever heard, and the way Andrew sings it give me chills...And with the music, and the piano in particular...The most simple sounding piano part making it so much prettier in its simplicity. If that made any sense, of course. It's just giving me the most empty feeling in my heart, while being content all the same.

i freaking love this song. this was pretty much the one song that got me all started on SC. i can't even pick my favorite lyric cuz the whole SONG is good lyrics, particularly the last chorus. its just wonderful. the emotion in it is great and the piano is beautiful... *sigh*

This song is great. It doesn't beat "Konstantine" but it's close. I know there've been comments on "Konstantine" being the song that every SoCo fan thinks they HAVE to love, but "Konstantine" introduced me to Something Corporate...and nothing compares to it.

On another note, this song doesn't necessarily mean relationship break up to me. It makes me think of someone frustrated because they person they love doesn't love them back.

"I could stay here all day, but that's not how you feel." proves my point, as well as "What did I do that you can't seem to want me?"

I don't understand what they mean by "cheshire cat doorstop" though. Any thoughts?

walking by...hmm..well my opinion, and simply put, is the lack of understanding...i know exactly what soco was saying with this...when you lose something to close and near to your soul and suddenly its gone...all you have left are questions...and you never get your answers...and thats all you need...to stop you heart of its bleeding. I don't think he ever got his answers...i think hes just letting whoever this girl is know.

This song is just amazing. I heard it for the first time yesterday, which sucks because it's much older [couple years] and I could have enjoyed it that much longer, had I heard it earlier. Oh well. Anyway, SoCo nailed this song. Andrew's voice and lyrics are better than anything I've come across in a long, long time.

This song is sooo beautiful and amazing. I get goosebumps everytime I hear it. I love how the lyrics tell a story. It's so sad but so amazing at the same time. My favorite lines:

"on the one sunny day that winter gave up"
"what did I do that you can't seem to want me?"
^^that line is just so beautiful and the way Andrew sings it with so much emotion is heartbreaking, I have to close my eyes everytime I hear it.

this is the most amazing song, almost my favorite except 4 konstantine(by far the best) the words are just so meaningful if you think about it, my favorite part is"and you loved sunset strip when it sparkled

he's hurting because she's leaving and he doesn't understand how she can just leave him and everything behind and not even care. He knows they're in love and doesnt understand why they are saying goodbye. I do think that she loves him but she has to move on with her life and he doesnt understand why she doesnt want him...when she does but she's walked away from everything good in her life before so she cant stay now.

Okay, first off.. SoCo is the best! I Love them! This song has a realy intense affect on me. I cry every time I hear it. About 2 months ago I left my boyfriend.. We eventually worked things out, and he said he listened to this song, but then felt kinda bad for it, he played it for me one night after going to a football game at our college. I just sat there stunned. It has become one of my fav. SoCo songs.

I basically see that it means loving someone who has to go, and not totally understanding why. and wanting to be with that someone so much, but knowing it isnt what they have in mind..

I just love it, I get tingles when i hear it!
