    General Comment:Okay first of all WOW! This song is absolutely amazing.. second..uh every time i listen to this song i always wonder who it was written about.. who is green eyes? its definitely not Gweneth.. shes got blue ones. Ever catch yourself thinking the same thing? Any thoughts?

    Memory:I absolutely love this song. My best memory with it would be me sitting on a plane, on my way home from a school trip to Washington DC. It was selected seating on the plane, and it just so happens another peer had already taken my seat. The only one left? One right next to the boy who i had started to have a crush on that very morning, (also in the same group as me, but we go to different schools in the district) waiting for security outside of the White House, getting to know eachother during the long wait. I guess he had picked up that clue, so as we sat next to eachother, 20000 feet above the ground, he asked if i wanted to listen to music with him. I said yes, already feeling butterflies in my stomach. I told him i liked Coldplay, and he had every single song of theirs on his iPod. He chose the song, after giving up on trying to make me choose. As he picked this song, he smiled at me, and said that he picked the song out just for me. As i listened to the song, i remembered how he had commented on how pretty my green eyes were earlier that morning. I absolutely am head over heels for him. I had heard of only the mega popular Coldplay songs before, and wasnt exactly a huge fan. Now, i am a HUGE fan, and, well, the boy that showed me this song is my very new crush, and it is going along just perfectly:)

    General Comment:This song is so beautifully amazing.I know this is supposed to be about a girl but I dedicate it to everyone who's really close to me who have made my life better.I can't just listen to this ounce,I usually listen to it a couple times before I can move onto the next song.

    General Comment:As a couple of other people have said, this song was written about pop singer Natalie Imbruglia who clearly has deep green eyes.

    Chris Martin dated Natalie briefly, before she got back together with (and eventually married) Daniel Johns of Australian band Silverchair, who she'd been going out with prior to Chris. That's why Coldplay stopped playing it in concert.
