Now, if one of them had been female, they totally would have. They said as much.
I doubt he's going insane. Someone eplained the whole album as a continuation from the end of the MM movie. I haven't seen it so I can't say how accurate that is, but I think this song, Le Ciel and Syunikiss are probably linked.
