This song sounds crude at first glance.
The topic it is talking about is nothing but crude, racism, beating, injustice, murder, it all makes me sick. This song tells it like it is to the average black male, as far as encounters with the Police go. It's sad how much people fear the people who are supposed to be their protectors and defenders. Perfectly normal to be angry at a group causing you much anguish. Time changes all, it won't remain the same forever.

where i am from nobody likes cops. After the riots in LA things changed. You saw the hate for the first time on the news. All minoritys are looked at first in my opinion because the color of our skins ect. I give them all the supports because i to hate cops too.

This song was actually originally performed by KRS-One, who also sang "Sound of Da Police"...it's based upon the police violence, abuse and institutional racism during the times of the Paris riots in the 90s. For a more detailed background to the story, watch "La Haine"...or "The Hate", as it's marketed in America.

I'm just curious how old most of you are? i find it amazing that most of you don't realize that the renegades album is comprised of covers, not original rage songs. Also Fuck the police is not a rage song and it's not a KRS-One song. It's an NWA song, from Straight Outta Compton, NWA's second release. That record launched "gangsta" rap and fuck the police was one of the first songs to speak out against police brutality, along with KRS-One's sound of da police and later ICE-T's copkiller.

yeah this is a nwa song, anyone whos got the album can read the stuff on the inside cover, they can read stuff about how much this song pissed off the cops and feds. the cover has a letter from some head FBI guy telling nwa's record label that "fuck da police" is promoting violence against cops and shit. this song was like a fucking underground national anthem for black youths when it was released. and bring on the T-man, ICE-T O.G

I'm right with jbj 42. What the fuck are you talking about the Aboriginals have unemployment rate three times higher than the rest of the population. The porportion of Aboriginals in jail to the percentage of the population they make up is 29 times higher than the rest of the population. To the situation of who owns the land rage would say "Land stolen from Aboriginals equals six states and two territorries. Colonialism matters".
Oh yes and the conservative media would just have you believe that the Aboriginals are favoured i go down the road and theres coledale with a far higher than proportionate crime rate and population just above the poverty line that is almost a ghetto. Trust me Aboriginals are not favoured the conservatives just make you think they are.
