Basically it's a wonderful song with a catchy melody with a huge amount of interpretations. Whoever listens to it will think of it differently. Personally, I think this song could be about how the singer likes this girl, but she won't be with him for some reason (ie, she doesn't know, she is not ready for another relationship, etc).

In any case, I absolutely adore this particular piece by Something Corporate.

man i love something corporate. i first heard konstantine and it was all i could listen to for almost a month. then i found this and now all i can listen to is this, konstantine, and a few other songs from leaving through the window. and to all the people who say they want to be someone's punk rock princess... i'm with you there... but i'd still rather be someone's konstantine. something corporate is amazing.

wow i totally wanna be someone punk rock princess...maybe not princess...but whatever...something that would make me feel special...anyways this is a totally cute song gorgeous...it was my first soco song...yeah im pretty slow...i want a grage band king...except i dont know anyone that has a grage band...blah i suck! peace

Did anyone notice how the Audioboxer version is slightly softer and deeper sounding?
Oh well I did anyway.
Are there any Soco songs that are not about love or relationships? Because I have a friend who loves Soco but I don't want to give her a CD with love songs because I don't want her to think I like her as more than a friend. Which I don't. Really.

This song is...amazing. It's pretty clear what this song is about. I saw Jack's Mannequin in concert on Sunday, and they played this song, and Andrew had said he wrote it when he was 17 [holy shit, he is a genius], and it was for his girlfriend...so yeah. Self explanitory, basically.

haha yea i agree with possibly sane... he said that at a concert i went to as well. he also said that his girlfriend was a freshman when he was a senior and viewed the fact that he had a car as "an l.a. hooker views a mazerati".

i just thought that was funny.

ahh i love this song!! I was at a jack'a mannequin concert and andrew said that is was about a girlfriend he had when he was a senior ( that's when he wrote it)...and she really like "punk" rock music and he was in a garage band...the song is pretty literal =)

oh and kmwaxxxx i though the whole 'hooker mazerati" thing was funny too haha

I love this song! I heard it for the first time ever yesterday...I'd heard the phrase "punk rock princess" before...I get called a punk a lot, and I'm proud of my punkishness (yeah I know that's not really a word, but it's so not punk rock to call yourself a punk)...now if only I could find my "garage band king"!!! Then I could be his heroine
