this was the first song i ever heard by SC, and i actually really liked it. i saw the video and was like "oh, sweet the guy's playing piano. rock piano!!!" so i was thrilled. and then i heard "space" and decided i like the more mellow "mopey" side of SC then the "if you see jordan" because...well there are a lot of bands that have the same kind of sound as that...

um.... i don't know if anyone in the world besides me has noticed this but something corporate isn't exactly a great band lyrically speaking.....
so whoever says this song isn't as good because "theres nothing to it".... something corporate's nothing special

i definitely agree with "ramthar" up there, who cares if it doesnt have lyrical content, it's still an awesome song. its funny, i heard they got sued over this song by the real jordan but won anyways 'cause the judge thought that jordan really was a "little red head B*TCH!"

yah, sorry for insulting red heads, didnt mean to:)--anyways, this song isnt supposed to be lyrically awesome, if it was, it just wouldnt work. in this song theyre just basically telling jordan up front, "FUCK him!" so yah!

Yeah this definetely isn't SoCo but I mean its still a fun song. Not everything has to be incredibly deep, you can write songs just for the sake of having fun. And that doesn't make it selling out either. I'm a huge Weezer fan, and anyone who knows anything about them can tell you their two most recent albums were disappointing. But I love Hashpipe. People say they sold out with that song. Its not a normal Weezer song, but its still a good song.

haha i love this song cuz its just a funny upbeat song. the music video is also very funny. many ppl dont like this song cuz its not like their other songs but thats what makes it pretty cool. but i like this song cuz its just fun to sing and in concert its sooo AWESOME when he plays the piano at the end with his feet haha so cool!!

pssshh.. aww come on everyone, this song is one of the best, "i'm-really-pissed-off" songs there is, its geeat to scream the words to when you've had a bad day

and when everyone screams FUCK YOU at concerts.. thats just fun.

I hate the video though..

did they reali need to write it iF U C Jordan? i think we get the point without that!!! its just tryin too hard to be clever. they probly wrote the whole song around that genius of an idea. dont get my wrong im a huge fan of sc but this definately isnt one of their best

I like this band, but I just can't figure out how anybody likes this song (please don't hurt me, anyone). I'll admit I'm not into the whole Something Corporate scene, as I just very recently discovered them, but this was the third song I heard by them (after Konstantine and Cavanaugh Park) and it almost turned me off to the band. Luckily I also found Down and Hurricane soon after, which recovered their reputation. I guess if this song is trying to be clever or something, it just didn't work for me, and if it's just trying to bitch about some immature person the writer knows, that doesn't work for me either.

Seeing as I'm going backwards here, this is the last something Corporate song I heard (seeing as when I fgirst got the record, I refused to listen to a song that couldn't spell out an entire word) I finally gave it a chance and love it!!!!! Yes, this song was obviously written when Andrew was feeling immature, but who cares?? Everyone has those moments where that's all they can say to someone...."F**K YOU!!!!!!"

i totally agree with harlequingirl (panic at the disco fan eh? lol)...thats the catch..they can write in metaphors and deep shit like that, but they can also write songs that are literal and no need to disect...thats the beauty of mcmahon. hes so flexible.

this song is straight to the point, and people think thats bad? its different. if thats all he could write then maybe he wouldnt be too grreat, but we all know hes a magician poet when it comes to his deep songs. this is just one of em songs where its in your face. but as you can see theres still emotion there...emo, emotion doest mean metaphors and deep stuff and gloomy gloomy phrases. GAWD.

hey im not pointing fingers and snarling and looking down on...its just ive loved them for so long, its hard to believe some people only get a taste of this kind of beauty now... lol

but ill admit, i get a bit pissed off when people are all talking about this new band they discoverred when ive been screaming their songs for 2 years. i get defensive and accumilate this feeling of possesion over the band.."MINE"

hahaha its a natural feeling...but about the new found soco fans,,,thats different..im more thankful than ever

I would have to say I agree with themrfrog. Anybody who doesn't like this song just because it's immature has obviously never known a "Jordan." I've known several "Jordans" in my life, and nothing would give me greater satisfaction than playing this song for them.

Anyway, I think it's a great song. It was one of the first SoCo songs I heard, and it basically got me hooked on them.

I also agree with cosmic_kisses. It's extremely straight to the point. There aren't any clever metaphors or symbolism. It's just Andrew saying exactly how he feels about Jordan. I personally like that.

So, that's just my opinion..
