Lyrics for If You C Jordan as interpreted by BrandNew1208

If You C Jordan Lyrics
I have a story, a bitter anthem
for everyone to hear
about this kid who just don't like me
And that's a solid fact
They say he's hunting me,
and as you see
I'm all swelled up with fear
cause' I can't get him off my back

If you see Jordan, if you see Jordan
He makes me sick, he makes me sick
High school's over, high school's over
And you still won't quit

You tried to fight me down at Tyler's beach
And man I think that's great
You nearly cried and said
to yell at you like I did at all the girls
You drove home real quick,
did you make it in time to masturbate?
There's one to many of you in this world

If you see Jordan, if you see Jordan
He makes me sick, he makes me sick
High school's over, high school's over
And you still won't quit

You say it's chivalry,
well it's jealousy that led us to this song
Won't play it often
just at least until you're gone
You'll stop at nothing but the real thing
and everything up to that's pretend
You tried to brainwash all my friends

If you see Jordan, if you see Jordan
He makes me sick, he makes me sick
High school's over, high school's over
And you still won't quit

Fuck you Jordan, fuck you Jordan
He makes me sick, He makes me sick
High school's over, high school's over
I don't care if you dye your hair
you'll always be a little red-head bitch!

The song is about Jordan Pundik from New Found Glory. Im almost positive. The two used to be roommates, and the references to the Jordan in the song would fit with Jordan Pundik; in addition there are a couple of New Found Glory references also found on "Leaving Through the Window" (I Want to Save You).

i agree, it's not their most deep song with all the hidden metaphors and symbols...but some days we all need to scream "FUCK YOU JORDAN" without having to analyze all of andrew's deeply imbedded meanings. some days are "konstantine" days, some aren't.

i agree that this song isn't as deep as a lot of their others but i think thats what makes it so great. who wants to hear deep, emotional, heartwrenching music all day? Sometimes you just want to think about something you would love to do and

Honestly, haven't you ever just wanted to walk up to someone, even if its not a personal bully, and be like F YOU!? i know i have.
Anyway i just think its so much more based on going all out and saying what you want to your own 'Jordan'

not deep, but to me, still awsome

funny story:
as i was breaking up with my last boyfriend, named jordan, i had my ipod on shuffle.
this song came on...
it was perfect timibg and amazing.
but this is still probably my least favortite song of theirs... it's nowhere near as deep as all soco's other songs and thats half of what makes them so amazing.

ok this song isn't about some red head slut trying to steal boyfriends. it's about a school bully that happens to have red hair.

this song makes me laugh every time i hear it. It's not one of Soco's deepest songs, but that doesn't make it disappointing.

"I don't care if you die your hair
you'll always be a little red head BITCH!"
haha.

this song helps me to vent... it reminds me of when i was in high school and this red headed bitch tried to steal my boyfriend. she basically worked herself into my whole social life. HIGH SCHOOL IS OVER... and i still c her rotten face. I CANT GET THE BITCH OFF MY BACK.

Haha this song is so funny and catchy, I can't take it seriously. I really like their contrast between their epic songs and their songs like this and "if I were a Terrorist...". It makes them a bit more relatable as a band. Especially this song. Everyone knows some one like this, and it's just funny to hear their spin on it. Sure it's not the greatest song, but I don't think it was intended to be. Just something light to put on an album filled with in depth songs and epic stories.

Ah, I do believe this was the first SoCo song I ever heard and I've loved them ever since. Great, great band, even if this song isn't their best. It's fun to sig a long with. What's ironic is my ex-boyfriend showed me this song, his name is Jordan, and he has copper-y colored sideburns.

This song is so true. I realise that Andrew is refering to one particular guy, but when he says "theres too many of you in this world" it makes it more universal. He is refering to those guys who think that they are always top shit, who everyone wants to be friends with and who all the girls want to fuck.
But usually, nobody wants to be their friends and are only nice to them because they're scared of them, and they never get girls, "did you make it home in time to masterbate?"

This is the least meaningful of all their songs... but like every other SoCo song, you gotta love it. And everyone can relate. There's someone who I know from wayy back in middle school named Marissa and she HATED me. She brainwashed all my friends, and has recently died her hair blonde... but i still remember her as the brown-haired bitch who had a personal grudge against me.

it's crazy, but it's almost like this song was written for everyone. i was looking through some of these comments and most people keep saying how this song reminds them of someone they know. and i have to say the same. except the person im taking about is a girl who had this disgusting red hair and she completely tried to destroy things for me. when i first heard this song i thought it was so ironic.

it's true this is probably my least favorite song of theirs, but it's still a great song because look at how many of you can relate to it. this band can get a good message through anything.

I love this song. Just think of a kid being picked on in school, and thinking he escaped all of that after high school, but seeing his old bully and him being the same kid. It's like a success story - it makes me happy!

well it's jealousy that led us to this song

I find that line hilarious considering it was their single and they usually play it at concerts.

I would have to say I agree with themrfrog. Anybody who doesn't like this song just because it's immature has obviously never known a "Jordan." I've known several "Jordans" in my life, and nothing would give me greater satisfaction than playing this song for them.

Anyway, I think it's a great song. It was one of the first SoCo songs I heard, and it basically got me hooked on them.

I also agree with cosmic_kisses. It's extremely straight to the point. There aren't any clever metaphors or symbolism. It's just Andrew saying exactly how he feels about Jordan. I personally like that.

So, that's just my opinion..
