I see you in the dark corner of the street
Coming after me, yeah
Headlights on full-beam
Coming down the fast lane
Coming after me, yeah

I would like to change back now
To the shadow of
The shadow of my former self

It follows me around
It follows me around

Did you lie to us, Tony?
We thought you were different
Now you know we're not so sure

Drooling looney tunes
Moving in a swarm
Moving in a swarm

It follows me around
It follows me around
It follows me around
It follows me around

Nowadays I get panicked
I cease to exist
I have ceased to exist

I feel absolutely nothing
The words are out of ink
The words you know are out of ink

You follow me around
You follow me around
Follow me around
Follow me around

General Comment:but tony blair follows him (bush) around like a dog (i'm your lapdog)

there's also an early radiohead song about burning bush, but his father. i like how thom always denies these political connotations

General Comment:+seems to me the follow me around reference could be about depression? once you go through it u always have this nagging feeling like its always with you waiting to attack. i just get this vibe that he was panicked and axious and everywhere he went his axiety followed

General Comment:yeah this song is unreleased, but there's a version on the documentary 'meeting people is easy' that has the rest of the band join in for the last section. is pretty cool. it would be super cool if it was on the new album. it looks like nude/big ideas is gonna be on there, so it's definitely a possibility.

    and i agree with robothouse.

General Comment:Listen, this is just a rumour. But someone posted on the message board at At Ease that they recorded it in August and it's gonna be on the 7th LP. Apparently a message was posted on Dead Air Space for 2 minutes before being taken down that said they recorded it. I'm not sure about it myself coz id've thought greenplastic or treefingers wouldv'e mentioned it if it'd actually happened.

    Just thought I'd mention this.

General Comment:It seems like it's from Tony Blair's point of veiw. Like he told all those lies and doesn't know how to get away from the people who are gonna catch him.

General Comment:The verse start: Did you lie to us Tony? is obviously about Tony Blair and the belief before the '97 Election that new Labour would change Britain, but it turned out Blair was just another terrible Leader.
