    General Comment:It is about drugs. And love. It's about being addicted - what you're addicted to is irrelevant. The addiction is the key thing. Having an obsession due to your addictive personality is what Palmer was trying to describe.

    General Comment:I think this song is very simple.

    It's not about drugs. It's just comparing addiction habits to being in love. And the comparison fits.

    General Comment:I had this complex idea that this song was directed at the type of woman (often sexually abused in youth) who grows up to be neurotic and obsessive about sex, constantly seeking it, but fearful of it at the same time. And of course "love" is often used as a euphemism for sex (or a lure, even)... But then I read all you guys... Drugs...

    General Comment:Thank goodness someone else has noticed this. This has always bothered me how blatantly obvious this substitution is. An even more generalized acoutstically pleasing version would be to replace love with drugs and as you mentioned kiss to hit. It's hard to believe these lyrics are just a coincidance.

    General Comment:Evin....Good point. Could also be cocaine. "You can't sleep, you can't eat....You heart beats in double time." Could also change "Love" to "Coke" and "Kiss" to "Sniff."

    General Comment:im watching thetube ( yes, 1 word) a channel that just plays music vids. i love most of it, some of it's plonk. Anyway, i always come here to the lyrics because i sing along to practice for voice lessons....
