I love this song. It's amazing. I can relate to.
The daylight burns me and the sunrise was enough to kill me. Maybe I'm a vampire.
It's kinda melodramatic at times, but also realistic. It's like he says don't expect everything to be shiney and happy, life is shit, deal with it.

Well ovbiosuly matts friend is complaining about life and matt sarcasticly goes "well maybe youre a vampire" implying to get over himself, and then his friend goes like "it's quite possible i feel truely dead inside" and matt put that in there becuase ovbiosuly his freind didnt catch his sarcasim.
