Lyrics for Bruiser (if Looks Could Kill) as interpreted by LastBeliever

Bruiser (if Looks Could Kill) Lyrics
All I feel is pain it seems today
A dark angel leads me to evil far beyond the grave
Declares me a phantom demon I don't know
It just cannot be defined
At hell this reflection stares at me
And then I lose my mind
It betrays me

Oh in hell I'll burn in flames
If looks could kill then death would be my name
Whoa oh in hell I'll burn in flames
So come inside the fires feel

Angel of Death is bloodied now
Pleased my one desire
Tortured, scored that strike
Against the fear, it feeds the fire

Near me now, the demons son
Bruiser I'm the one
Erase my soul for all your sins can never be undone
I can’t contain it

Oh in hell I burn in flames
If looks could kill then death would be my name
Whoa oh in hell I burn in flames
So come inside the fires feel the pain
Here's the pain
The pain

Oh in hell I burn in flames
And if looks could kill then death would be my name (my name)
Whoa oh in hell I burn in flames
So come inside the fires feel the pain
Feel the pain
Feel the pain
Yeah
Feel the pain

this song was written for the horror/slasher flick called "bruiser". the band even makes an appearance in the film. great song, it has that 50's beat to it.

Great song.

"If looks could kill then death would be my name" is one hell of a line.

devilreggea hit it on the nose. This was written for the movie Bruiser (which wasn't all that good) along with another song, Fiend Without a Face. This song is definitely the better out of the 2, but let's get on to what it means.

I personally just think it's about a guy who knows he's done wrong, and knows he's going to hell, but couldn't care less.

But then again, it's a Misfits song. Most of these songs don't have much meaning behind them other than to be cult classics.

From a music standpoint, it sounds like they took this song apart and used it for Descending Angel from Famous Monsters.
