god .. no no no .. never take back things like i love you .. you definitley regret it and your lying to yourself ... i know this for a fact ... it hurts more to regret what you said that seemed so nice ..its revenge that makes you do this ,,cause you want the person to feel pain like your feeling but if ever you start talking again .. you cant take back what you said... ;(

he is saying that out of anger , and hurt.
if you have ever had your hurt broken you would understand what he is saying.
nikkie said it perfect.
you want that person to feel the way you feel.
but you can take back things like i love you.
because sometimes you dont mean it, and you feel bad for saying it .

he didnt know what he was saying..and he regrets it.
thats okay. because people make mistakes with their feelings.

perhaps when one says that they love another, they are saying it blindly, being a stupid kid and consumed with this artificial love. i agree that it's not harsh at all. that i've said i love you to people out of sheer stupidity. thinking that these people are something amazing and then finding out that they are really not someone you love at all, it was just an illusion. it was just you wanting to love the person you thought they were.

I agree that it's not harsh at all. This song is about a bad breakup and if you think about it, you're able to understand that truth behind your anger when something so emotionally straining happens. It's easy to say things that you don't mean, i think we all understand that and this song represents those moments where our thoughts have escaped us.
